Princess Mononoke Is probably the best movie ever made,
Those who voted for Spirited away have never seen Princess Mononoke,

1000000000000000000000 Votes for Princess Mononoke

I'm a big fan, so honestly it's a really hard choice...>.<

I guess I'll just go with the one that I first saw when I was a very small child - Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind.

I remember the first time my big brother brought it home to watch and I was fascinated by Ohmu, and years later when the Ohmu and Nausicaa were the only things about the movie that I really remembered trying to track it down (and trying to explain to people what it was "a cartoon with these big glowing bug things and a girl in blue") was horrendous. This was of course before I knew what Studio Ghibli and anime even was.
But thankfully in my teenage years I found my love of anime and found my Nausicaa once again.

Why isn't Mimi wo Sumaseba on the list? ._.

Anyway, I can't choose just one. Kiki, Nausicaa and Totoro would top my list along with Mimi wo Sumaseba.

I think they are only going by the ones that Miyazaki directed. Yoshifumi Kondō directed Whisper of the Heart.

Same with Grave of the Fireflies which was directed by Isao Takahata.

Princess Mononoke, all the way. <3.

I also like Nausicaa, Laputa, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle.
I hated Lupin III. And I haven't seen Totoro, Ponyo or Porco Rosso, yet.

Princess Mononoke for me. I've seen all of them on the list aside from Lupun III, and Porco Rosso, and Nausicca is a close second, but Princess Mononoke is my top favorite.

nausicaa forever <3 i'd love to read the manga of this <3

sad that most people have only seen howl/spirited away ;( i mean, they're both good, but i think most of his older stuff is more rounded, in my opinion.

i cant vote for mononoke because i'll forever have a bad memory of watching that movie at the same time as eating my dinner....of spagetti and chicken...XD

oh god, i ADORE totoro, i watch it all the time but i still think nausicaa was the better made movie/story.

Spirited Away for sure!

Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind and Princess Mononoke are nice as well; but in the end, I love the characters in Spirited Away too much. The fact that it has no romance theme is a big plus-point too.

Spirited Away is the most memorable for me, with Lupin III being a close second. I didn't even know Miayazaki directed that Lupin film until quite a bit afterwards.

All of Miyazaki's films are a feast for the eyes and dessert for the heart. My favorite would have to be Princess Mononoke, just because that was the first of his movies that I truly ate with my eyes and savored in my heart.
