I remeber when I was a kid, I used to watch a baseball anime... but never got to finish it. I'm going here on the asumption that the anime was originally a manga... which might be wrong. The anime was about a small kid (9 to 12 years maybe?), who would eventually become a star pitcher. It was like a captain Tsubasa but baseball style... There was some weird invisible throws, balls that go over 300mph, or balls that appear to be 15 balls through some kind of illusion and stuff like that.
I know, that I'm probably not making much sence and not giving off enough information for someone to identify it. but this was over 10 years ago. so i don't remember much myself. sorry for the trouble.
Only two baseball animes i know, one is recent, Ookiku Furikabutte and the other is H2 which is an oldie - if the manga looks familiar it's prob that, but it's not a hyperpowered DBZ baseball anime though...
I checked out H2 before, and it doesn't seem to be it. For the other one since it's recent, is probably not it either, unless it's a remake or something. (Do they do that sometimes?) Well, thank you anyway. I'll try looking into "Ookiku Furikabutte" even if it isn't it, it might be intersting.
EDIT: ah! thanks for the link it really might help!
Perhaps you are talking about battle-ball ("ricky star" in french or "Gô Q chôji" in japanese). It's a really old anime (1993). I remember than in that anime/manga a player ( or some players) were using thunder to throw their balls.
If you are interested in newer ones you can get Major too (i find it really good).
