I think Kisame is one of my new favorite fictional characters now cause of this. 
Oh yeah, and Konan's gonna die without landing more than 2-3 hits on Madara. Hell, knowing Kishimoto, she'll most likely won't land any hits on him.

I swear Ill drop this if konan dies, I dropped it when i thought hinata died and only picked it back up when someone told me she was brought back. To me konan, hinata, and ino are characters that if they died id drop it. kill off someone useless like sakura but not konan. on another note kisame died like a G that fact is undeniable just like sabuza

Gai acting as a ninja?
He's the most flamboyant youth person there is^_^. He got no stealth and he sticks out as a sore thumb.
Kisame will be missed. Died as a badass. To think that Naruto and Killer Bee couldn't stop his shark. Pretty useful jutsu. Kind of disappointed about the lack of fighting that Kisame were involved with but really liked his flashbacks.
Gonna drink a beer for him on Saturday

True. I meant when hes fighting though, hes always a serious fighter and doesn't go easy on his enemies.

I thought something like this might happen.
Especially about Madara getting Kisame's info.
I just thought that the scroll Guy had would've been an empty dud while the real one got away already. Good chapter overall. And RIP Konan (yes, her).

Knowing Kishimoto, he'll skip the actual battle and just show us the aftermath, which would be a destroyed battlefield. I'll be happy if Kishimoto surprises me though.

You speak the truth.
Damn, killing off one of the only pretty females (in my opinion) in this entire manga. Sux. If Konan dies, then the Rain team will officially be the most tragic team in the entire manga. Probably would've been better if Jiraya had never trained them at all and took them to an orphanage instead, with the way things are going.
Again I have to say I'm grateful Kisame's flashback wasn't sappy and that it was finished with him quickly. Plus everyone went out looking good--Kisame had a nice, manly end and someone beside Naruto got the chance to show off--extra nice. (Sometimes the manga makes it seem like Naruto & Sasuke are the only powerful ninjas Konoha has ever produced...) Do it like this every time Kishimoto.

i believe the great end would be naruto death, sacrifing himself and resurecting all the dead uchiha clan ,konan, jiraya..
and then he will be accepted as the sixth hockage

Hmm...? This was one of those chapters that make you glad you've read it as far as you have, I mean, I have no Idea why I still read Bleach, but Naruto makes up for it.
Kisame is and was a REAL ninja, Ninja's die that way, sometimes in a whisper, but sometimes in a splash of blood... RIP Kisame.
All the comments really reflect my thoughts, the only thing that I don't get, is how can you rule out Konan so easily. Yes, i get that Madara is ALL Powerful and all, but you can be surprised, and also, If I'm mistaken, why did He call her Nagato, or was I just not understanding the context, or was it monologue. Also, Did Kishimoto set this up as a scene before a death, or a battle. I doubt it's a battle, because of the Narration context, but I'd be cool I wonder what Konan's real power is.
Also, I kinda agree with Shamful7, It's a damn SHAME if she dies, I like the female ninja allot, and that includes everyone, but why kill off the prettiest of them.
Oh sorry for the spam, but Buy the New Disturbed album "Asylum". Out now!!! Let's go for another number 1 album. Fingers crossed.
