I believe they have "coffee shops" where you can order and smoke marijuana legally. I don't remember all the regulations, but I think you're also allowed to grow your own marijuana in your backyard as long as it doesn't exceed a certain amount.
They do this to try to reduce people's interactions with drug dealers who may introduce hard drugs (much more damaging/addictive) such as heroine, cocaine, etc.

Yup it's legal, but u can only grow and have 5 Hennep plants. You can't grow a whole farm of it, that's illegal.

In Brasil prostitution is not a crime as long as it is just between you and the prostitute, if there is a 3rd person like a pimp than it becomes a crime. Other than alcoholic drinks, cigarrets and medicines, all kind of drugs are forbidden in Brasil... yet it is the way it is...
