What I find perhaps most interesting (and encouraging) in this poll is that only 1 single person has voted for Fame while Kindness is leading.
Maybe there's hope for us after all. 
OT: I've realized that my ideal partner (or rather my preferred partner, I don't know what my ideal partner is like) is very similar to myself except she is female.  Got a thing for tomboys.

I wanted to vote for ALL of these
confidence
intellect
honesty
kindness
looks
love for animals/children
loyalty
a sense of humor
a Short Skirt and a Looonnnngggg Jacket
similar hobbies
But because it's hard to choose, I voted for "a unique style". Also, since I want a GUY who looks good in "a short skirt and a loooonnnngggg jacket", that's the only choice that would make sense

The most importatn thing is that we have similar hobbies and he is nice, kind, hones, loyalty, a sense of humor, loves animal/children, a litle jeslous, good looking(good looking to me not tv good looking) and loves me for who i am Spoiler (mouse over to view) money is not something that he has to have but is would be a plus :p

I pressed intellect because I was annoyed that it's so hard to find in my area, but then I realized something.
Kindess is at the top of my list. They cannot be a jerkass no matter how intelligent.
Minus smarts it's followed by:
Loyalty. Cheated on me? Thanks, but we're done. See ya. Also, I want my crap back. It might be crap, but darnit, it's still mine! Burn all that stuff I gave you too. I'll be damned if you pawn all that and I don't get the cut!
Similar hobbies. Acceptance doesn't hurt either.
Sense of Humor. They have to be able to make the common person laugh. I do this with a certain weird twist; it's always been my dream to part of a comedy duo. Not really, but it'd be pretty cool.
Honesty. I need someone to properly critique me.
I'm not really into specifics but I'd like a common ground as to avoid misunderstandings. I've been told that if I marry or get in a deep relationship with someone that looks worse than me I'll be disowned.

Kindness. Someone who knows how to respect themselves and the people around them. Having an aim in life and being proactive would also be nice.

Kindness (which in my mind includes gentleness) is up there for me. That would be followed by loyalty, a sense of humor, looks, and honesty.
By intellect I'm assuming being able to talk in depth about Plato or complex calculus, which is something I shouldn't ask for if I can't do myself, haha. But of course, not someone who thinks mayonnaise is an instrument (sorry, Patrick)! Similar hobbies is probably already going on if we're dating...xD

first of all - Loyalty
then:
confidence
intellect
honesty
kindness
looks
a Love of Animals and/or Children
a sense of humor
money (not necessarily rich but you gotta have a job=money to live)
similar hobbies (but i dont mind quite opposite either lol )
a unique style (wouldn't be bad )
