I agreed with previous post. We cannot believe something is wrong if in our mind it is not set by our own logically thinking but by other restraining reasons that others had set for us. I would be a hypocyte if I say I love incest because at this point I just can't imagine myself being with one of my brothers in a romance sense.
Of course there will be some sort of special attachment between siblings after living together for so long but by nature, I don't think we can actually have feelings beyond that. After reading some mangas with incest genres, I find that most of them has history behind their taboo relationships. I'm not saying these fairy tail stories actually exists in real life BUT there should be a reason that trigger those feelings. If you are asking me wether it is love or not, I would say no.

I don't think incest is that big a deal, as long as it's not a part of repetitive in-breeding. I mean, everyone is related in some way anyway, siblings are just a bit closer. I got to say though, I hate it in manga. It's way too over dramatic. I can understand if they feel guilty or whatever but sometimes it just gets ridiculous.

PS : Just my personal point of view You make it sound like love is some sort of virus that you can't help but catching. I think the main problem with real life incest is that it isn't as innocent as manga or anime usually depicts it. Sadly it is often the case that the older partner (usually male) forces the other party into the relationship. With time the twisted emotions that resulted from the assault(s) may even be construed for love as the victim tries to escape from reality. I really don't think there has ever been a case of two siblings both gradually becoming attracted to each other and "falling in love".
not sure if this was mentioned cause i dont feel like reading thru all the pages but their is a German couple with 4 kids that are Brother and Sister that gradually fell in love as they say

Mmmh, It's just something that's not right, even though I love BL that has incest (I sound like a hypocrite) I wouldn't personally do that.

I don't have anything against incest in manga. For me it's just another genre. If people can stand the love between some tentacles and a human why would you need to bring incest to the ground?

Incest is ok in my book as long as its to consensual adults, I know someone who is involved with his older sister, hes 19 shes 23 and they are happy. though im one of like 3 people that know about it, we mostly think incest is wrong cause all we ever here about is the cases in were abuse is involved even if someone is in a happy relationship with a sibling or parent they will never say anything due to the fear of how society will view them. its like homosexuality but along time ago sooner or later it will be more common. also just encase u all are wondering, I would never do it cause i dont love any females in my family that way and probably never will but i cant condemn it.

Well, I like reading it, and one of the first comments made said that it was pretty much the ultimate forbidden love, and I agree. I think its a big no-no, but there are sometimes where I can understand when you love your sibling/half-sibling (still conciously knowing that its a no-no), Ive never seen my half-sister in 16 years, so for me I think it would be a little difficult to see her as a sister then a woman >_> But thats just me. I dont think its disgusting, but I think its wrong

After reading all the previous comment I've found a lot of comment which is both against and "in favor" for incest. I myself have nothing against it and think that no one should forbid two people who love each other to be together no matter who they are. I would therefor want to ask a follow up question to the ones who had a negative response to IRL incest:
Do you think that a relationship between siblings should be against the law?
And if you bring the matter of risen probability for birth defects answer this question:
Should people with defective genes which their children's can inherit also be forbidden from getting kids?

even if it feels weird, I don't think that we should judge whether is right or wrong.
Honestly I have nothing against it, I mean if we can accept homosexual, why not incest.
