What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Hey everyone! Wondering if you could maybe help me out here. biggrin

I'm looking for a romance with a strong male lead. I'd prefer it if this romance had some substance to it rather then your generic boring shounen romance with no real conflict. I don't mind if the main has some run ins with girls who are total bitches or have issues before he finally finds a good one. Example of a bitch is Eba from Kimi no Iru Machi. I just want him to be a strong lead a good example of that is the lead from High School of the Dead. Hes not indecisive and can rise up to the occasion keeping his head cool. Basically I want the lead to have grown a pair and not be a little whiny stalker bitch.

Please don't recommend shoujo, josei, shounen ai, or yaoi.

Shin Angyo Onshi-has some romance in it not such
Berserk- a bit of romance not much though..
thats all i can think of..
what about Elfen Lied ? the girl is the strong lead not the guy..

Suzuka suzuka's kinda a bitch at the beginning also.
Ichigo 100% no bitches but male lead is kinda a bitch.

If u watch anime you must watch Clannad and Clannad after story. Strong male lead and the most lovable female lead ever bigrazz

Rappai Rangai (also called ninja girl) kinda fits. The main male lead is not a whimp, maybe a little in the begining but he actually grows to be more dependable ^^
