Looking for a PROTAGONIST whose identity is mysterious (at least to most people), and who hides or obscures his/her own face with a deep, shadowed hood or a mask or a similarly concealing wardrobe (scarves, veils, etc). Preferably nocturnal as well, as in, most of their clandestine activities are conducted in the night-time or 'in the shadows'.

Must give an impression similar to Aragorn, when he is first introduced as an anonymous, hooded Hunter full of possible menace and mystery.



The darker & more mysterious, the better.

Any genres except hentai, ecchi and comedy are welcome.

Definitly Darker Than Black. The protagonist is a mystrious Chinese-Electric-Batman, who wears a dark longcoat, and a badass mask.

You should probably go with the anime, though. Far better.
