how much? On a scale 1-10

1 being almost none, just read 1 to two titles, 10 being everything at least read a couple hundred titles, can predict the plot of a new manga title with just 1 or two chapters

me I am about a 8 at least, I know a lot about manga, not so much with the recent titles, that's why a 8.

but 3 years ago I was definitely a 10.

Like....... maybe 1.5... or even 1 ish?

Uhhh... Idk I only read shoujo and shounen... I don't read any yaoi, yuri, -ai, shotacon, lolican, hentai... yeah... so I guess my knowledge is limited... confused

But... if you're going by how many you've READ, probably 7. But if you're going by if you know every One Piece character's name and birthday, that would be a 0.1...

Eeyeah... your question is VERY broad... and weird and confusing. I dont think anyone could be a ten... none

the one piece thing is just a example. Doesn't have to know about one piece.

for example did you know most of ADACHI Mitsuru's work use same character design, and not similar but the same.

8.5 - Read & own more than a hundred-fifty titles. Sort of an otaku thing smile On a manga scene for a long time. Don't read One Piece though smile Hope that'll suffice smile

By titles I've read, I'm probably maybe a... 6, 7 - but maybe a 4 or a 3? I've read/watched significantly more than 100 series. I haven't been counting... I avoid a lot of the mainstream titles, though. If we're going by knowledge about the genre and style and history of manga, I'm about an 8. If we're talking how much I know about one piece, I'm a 0. >>;

about a 6 or 7 maybe
I've read almost every genre there is to manga
but I don't memorize the mangaka or the title...I just remember the plot and art style..=_=;
which is a pretty bad thing.

There are around 6000 series listed on this page and I got around 200 manga in my lists.
Let's assume 6000 are 100 percent; 6000/200=30
Put it on a scale (1-10) it's 3.
Let's make it 3+-2 to have an excuse for my lame numbers...
q.e.d.

(Believe it or not, I did really good on my final exam at mathematics - after failing the first two times though laugh )

This is also my 200th post. smile

I know a lot about manga, but I am unsure on how to equate that with that scale.
Let's just say, that it's one of my favorite hobbies that I enjoy on a daily basis. I read at LEAST one manga volume a day, and I've been doing that for about 10 years. If someone asks me about a series (that's been licenced), I at least know the bare bones of it. But ask me about BL/Shojo-Ai/Shonen-Ai and I'm like...wha? I read Yuri sometimes, but it's not my favorite genre. Japan puts out a LOT of manga a month/year, and who has the time to know everything? I'm a Josei expert! For of that is my demographic smile

Maybe....8.5? I read Shojo, Shonen, Seinen, and Josei (mostly Shojo & Shonen), I haven't read lolicon, shotacon, hentai, yuri, ect. and the only yaoi I've ever read was my friend's copy of Junjou Romantica, but I have read about lots of different kinds of manga. Does that count?
