What if Caska is sacrified again, but by gutts this time when his own behelit awakes ?
Actually, that can't happen. Waaaaaayyy back (Volume 3) when the Count summoned the 5 God Hands and wanted to use Guts as a sacrifice, they told him that it was not possible because Guts had already been sacrificed and that he couldn't use a person that had already been offered as a sacrifice. Thus Casca is not fit to become a sacrifice since she is already and effectively a sacrifice not yet sacrificed.

I read somewhere in an interview with miura that he stated "this is just the beginning, now the story can really start" and that was at a time around volume 30 i think. i sure hope he won't lose track of everything over the years.
Oh my holy god! Are you serious?!
Volume 30 JUST the beginning? He has been creating the manga for 18 years now! When will it finish?! Especially considering the rate of the released chapters, it will take ages! Let's hope that Berserk won't be the second "Unfinished Tales"!
Anyway, as for what it will happen to Guts and Casca? That's of course a tough question. I don't really think that Casca will die. She is one hell of a lucky bitch! I mean, just consider the fact that she survived completely alone around a group of witch-burners who wanted to burn her! Except for this, if I recall well, when the Skull Knight saved both her and Guts from the Eclipse (Volume 13), he said to Rickert: "It seems they were not meant to die here", which might imply that those two might play a greater role at the story later. (Guts is already playing his role trying to hinder the God Hands' plans) You could, however, say as a counter-argument that Casca is already playing a role. (Let's just say that her role could possibly be that she is the factor that Guts has not succumbed completely to his Berserk side. Of course this might change later, but for the time being we can only speculate) As for Guts, I bet that he will not give up and commit suicide considering all things that happened so far. The fact that he will slay Griffith is beyound a shadow of a doubt. Nothing has managed to stop him so far and I will consider it cheating if after so many chapters, so much pain, so much unfairness, so much hate and anger, his wish does not become true. I also doubt that Guts can use the Behelit against a God Hand, but nothing has been said to disprove that claim yet.
