Does anyone have an opinion on how Gutts and Caska are going to end up?

I'm also, curious in volume 28, when Caska find the little boy with the long hair, do you think it was Gutts's and Caska's baby?

I sense a tragic ending for them. I'd really like Caska to be healed, rekindle her relationship with Gutts and help him fight all the evil force but I think that's pretty unlikely. Since protecting and healing Caska is the crux of Gutts' mission, I think Caska won't be healed until the climax of Berserk or the end of Berserk...

i wldnt say tt its gutts and caska's baby..but rather the child of caska and the gay hawk guy

most likely ending IMO would be
a)Kjaskar dies in some horrible way and guts continues his pitiful life of fighting
b)Kjaskar gets healed and wants to return to Griffith....and dies>>
c)kjaskar somehow changes into a demon(griffith servant like thing) and guts has to kill her as she now is his enemy
ANYWAY there prolly won´t be a happy end.....if you think about it Guts and kjaskar being happy ever after doesn´t suit the manga at all

The kid is thiers. The skull knight stated so after Caska gave birth to him prematurely and he floated away. Weirdness. Anyways, there was another scene where the kid showed up to save them on the beach. And the kid is trying to get the armor off Gutts and he falls back landing in both Caska and Gutts arms and the other group members comment on how they look like a family. I mean the hints are there that the moonchild is Caska and Guts baby if you read between the lines.

What about that Farneze woman? She never said anything but it really seems like she is interested in Gatts and not just as a friend or companion. Same for that witch girl but she is a lot younger. Farneze seems to treat Serpico more like her brother than anything else and she doesn't seem interested in that guy that's trying to marry her even though he's trying really hard. Who knows maybe they all die and it ends up being Gatts all alone again.

I seroiusly can't see Gutts having a good ending, everybody else maybe, but Gutts no. It doesn't have to be a bad ending, maybe a decent one.

He constantly goes up against all odds you have to wonder how much he has left in the tank. He still has many enemies he has to fight before even meeting up with
Griffith . Hopefully that Skull warrior guy can lend him a hand. That also brings me to another point That skull guy seems to relate to Gatts very well which might give us a clue as to what will become of Gatts. But It seems Gatts' has the bad luck of having The white hawk and the god hand as his enemies. That skull guy can put up a fight against them but it seems he can't quite defeat them so it should be even harder for Gatts to do so. This means that things don't look very good for him in the end.

yea, they could probably fall in love... if caska dies or joins griff.

I think the it will end with Gutts death but the last scene will probably show him in hell or something with all the original gang memberz & with one of the guys saying something cliche like "welcome back".
As for caska she is sure to die, in my opinon.

I think there must be a good reason for gatsu having a behelit of his own... ;)
Caska will be healed and survive, witnessing the final battle of gatsu vs griffith, after which they'll both 'vanquish'.

with this book, you can never tell what's going to happen next. -_-

Well he kind of just stumbled upon that behelit in one of the first chapters didn't he? He took it from that disfigured man who stole it from the count I think. But he hasn't lost it has he? And they said that thing tends to stay with some one for a reason. So he might be able to benefit from that thing when the time comes. Or maybe it will be his downfall? Who knows......

And as far as Farneze goes... I think Gatts wouldn't want any woman besides Caska and you know how hard headed Gatts is. But under special circumstances you never can tell....
