He has to have been training with the masters for longer than a year... There is just too much that has happened for it to be only a year.

I'm going to miss apachai if the author is really killing him right here. He's my favorite master

I haven't been so hyped up for a chapter of any manga in a LONG time. 401 came, and now I can't wait for 402.
This grouping of chapters will make AWESOME reading when all is said and done. I know Kenichi must fight without killing, and I -know- he will probably be stopped before he kills Koukin, but... but I really am liking Kenichi snapped. I want this series licensed, so much.. just so I can buy up to this volume and let my friends read it. -(O.O)-

It just seems that so much has happened that it has to be longer, but I guess it could be only a year... But if that's the case them Kenichi is a Demon!! Able to grow to above disciple below Master level in only a year!!!
And where does that leave Mui? She's been training since she was young and she's still at that level that Kenichi is at. If Kenichi trains as long as Mui did will he be master level in half the time?
Man I really can't wait for the next chapter... I want to see what happens. I really hope that Mui is the one to stop him from doing something stupid. Then things will probably progress a little.

I am actually thinking... there are actual cases of people who have been impaled and managed to survive... and Apachai -has- to know how to "arrange his organs" or something.. so it might have ribbed through a lung and broken his ribs.. but real world medicine right now in the US can save someone who was impaled.
The only thing I see about that though, is the tool used to impale him isn't still there, so they need to get something in the wound to stop the bleeding NOW, like.. as in right after the fist was pulled out..
