Winter will soon be coming. At least where I am^^... so for me it's time to look for my teapot I noticed there was a thread abaout tea, but not about sugar habits... well, do you like sugar in your tea?
I do. I love it. People always say that it's too sweet, but there are at least some who share my opinion. Unfortunately, those guys always want to drink my tea when I take some to school.
I hope that this topic wasn`t made somewhere before,... and I apologise for my horrible english

Never ever any sugar in my tea, or my coffee for that matter.
Even when I was a youngster and the tea was strong, I never added sugar. I just added more milk and as and I've gotten older, I've been decreasing the amount of milk I add. I'm glad I never got into the habit of adding sugar and just added more milk instead. Personally I think it ruins the taste when sugar is added.
I drink a hell of a lot of tea in a day. I can reach 20 cups if I'm not careful, and if I take my tea with sugar? Not good for me. (not that drinking 20 cups of tea is good for me in the first place )

Yeah I'm British and it's commonly known for us Brits to add milk to our tea XD
I can drink it black as well, but adding milk is what I've grown accustom to. It's what I know and prefer.

Hot tea or cold? If it's cold tea then I add a ton of sugar to the mix, but if it's hot then just a touch of honey.

I can't stand to drink black tea without milk and sugar.
I only add a relatively small amount of sugar: 3 pieces of cube sugar in a fairly large cup/pot, sometimes I feel like 4.
The amount of milk I pour in is what most people consider to be over the top. The end result consists of up to 1/3 of milk.
I can't get used to the taste of honey in tea, but using fructose instead of normal sugar works for me.

yup, put honey when I drink hot tea and go for sweetened iced tea for the rare time I drink it. The only time I don't put sugar/honey is in japanese restaurants.

@tactics I thought so^^ well, probably your tea is even stronger than what we drink, i can't believe that I really missed the chance to try it when I visited my sister in Britain... ooooh the regret.... now it comes...
At least I'm not the only one who seems to like sweet things <3

I picked special habit. I usually drink a tea with nothing in it if I'm trying it for the first time. After I taste it I try it many different ways. With sugar, with milk, with honey, or with a mixture. To me each type of tea is different. Usually I like green tea and herbal tea alone, but I like black teas with milk and either sugar or honey.

Oh goodness, no.
Not as a child and not now.
I don't like anything sweet in my tea.
Though I do dip ice cream in it sometimes. :3
With coffee, I add milk or swear cream.
