I'm 6'4" so she is going to have to be huge....but, I don't really see a problem with dating a woman taller than me. I've dated a few tall girls who like to wear heels, so they were about my height at that point. Never bothered me.

After meeting lots of guys I have to say it has to do with confidence. I've met many guys who were quite shorter then me but were confident (not overly) and never really paid attention to their height. They didn't see themselves as a "short guy" they saw themselves as a "guy" who happened to be short. I'm 5'10... and love heels. No matter what I'll need a guy who can deal with that so of course I don't mind.

Those guys that are shorter and overcompensate and are assholes... well of course not.

I'm quite old fashioned, I think man has to be taller, bigger (muscular or normal not thin)
and older. Anyways guys grow slower than gurls, so that's why it has to be an older
guy! If a guy was shorter, more slim and younger than me it makes me feel kinda...
uncomfortable?

I've never had to think about this since I'm 6'4" and I've never actually met a woman taller then me, I'm hard pressed to find guys that are taller than me on a regular. Most of the time I'm the tallest person in the room.

You would need some rather big heels for that to be an issue with me.

I'm 5' 9-10" and I would prefer I would be taller than the girl... it just seems awkward with your GF is taller than you... it's a male thing I guess.

Since I'm 151cm only sad , most guy are taller than me & I prefer tall guy also....

Once I met a very short guy who is 149 cm and he is very sensitive on his height. He likes tall girls only because he don't want his future children to be end up like him.

I actually don't mind BUT short guys are kinda cute. Maybe, it's why guys like shorter girls, they seem much more vulnerable. The guy I like right now is actually around the same height as me. ^_^

The only guys I've ever had crushes on have been shorter than me, (except for Gerard Butler, but I'm not sure he counts...) biggrin And by shorter, i don't mean by a few centimeters, I'm 5'10 and the guys I've "fallen for" were about 5'4 and shorter. Of course, their height didn't really have anything to do with it for me, we just got along exceptionally well and we had a lot of similar interests. I fell in love with their personalities, it had nothing to do with how tall/short they were. (And they were man enough not to care about stupid things like height as well, which may be another reason why I loved them so) smile.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it really. It would be nice if the man was only a few inches shorter, but I don't really care that much. Cute guys are cute guys, and more importantly, nice guys are cute guys smile

I just read this page and I'm suprised I saw two female users who have the same height as me... (I'm 1.77, pretty sure that's 5 feet 10 inches in American height.) It's not that tall actually (well for European countries it isn't) I'm just a little taller than average... but still, I would like to be a little shorter... no idea why though. It's just a stupid complex I have about myself. ._.

So yeah, I think the answer is obvious but I indeed prefer tall guys, at least guys who are 5 centimeter taller than me. I don't like them either when they're the same height as me. (Of course, friendship doesn't matter, I have actually two guy friends who are shorter than me... but for a relationship or a date... no.)
