A little like Seishun Walker. But I did have a major issue with the "you're a girl" comments. It seemed like he meant it in a bad way or something. I can't help but look at it like that. Mega feminist here. The end bugged me as well. But the girl was great.

Kimi No Iru Machi Ok this doesn't fit but for those reading
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I adore Asuka and would love for her to have a happy ending. She's just so cutely boyish and sporty. The fact she is the most flat chested of the heroines makes it even better for me. Weird I know.
A main heroine like her would just make me so happy.

W-Juliet could fit but she gets girly later. Still good tho.

Just looking tomboyish is not enough btw. So avoid series like Ouran or anything like that. She needs to act "boyish" too.

A scenario I would love is the tomboyish girl having a crush on the main guy but being too scared to say it and being forced to watch him w/ other girls and getting really jealous. Even better if he does something like pat her on the back and call her his buddy. I sort of have a thing for what I call reverse-netorare. Seeing the girl jealous, sad, angry and forced to see her crush w/ someone else. Of course I do want a happy ending though. wink

I just find it so cute when the least girly girl gets the happy ending. Same thing in reverse. I love seeing the guy not many of the girls want get the happy ending. (ex: Monkey High!)

Btw I mean the stereotypical manga tomboyish girl. Rough way of talking, shortish hair, hangs out w/ guys, loves sports, dresses sporty, etc.

My suggestion is Watashi no... Megane-kun However, it is a bit twisted, and it's not finished. I'll post again if I think of something else.

Edit:
I just thought of more after I posted.
Boarding House of Hunks is a really good one by Hwang Mi Ri
Another one by her is He Dedicated to Roses
You'll probably find a few other ones by her. I've liked everything I've read by her so far.
Here's another suggestion: Red Lion where the main charater used to get into fights until she made a promise to her mom, but things come up.
Legendary Kang Do-Young is also good, however the art is a little silly, but still good.

Now, if I think of anything more, I will post again.

You're so cool fits pretty well.. i think..
Oresama Teacher Former female banchou kicked out of previous school and trying to mend her ways but somehow gets caught up in fights in her new school.. But so far it has only hinted at the possible future romance..

The only other things I can think of are genderbenders like W Juliet.. Ai wo Utau Yori Ore ni Oborero! and Pheromomania Syndrome which are girls who look like guys and the guys who like them that happen to look girlish.. Well the girl in Pheromomania Syndrome isnt really tomboyish but she does become insecure before they get together because of her looks..

"In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out."

Bunkagu Shoujo (Novel)

Spoiler (highlight to view)
The heroine is the most flat-chested but not a tom boy.

I would recommend the movie and OVA's since not much of the novel is translated.

I believe Girl Got Game fits very well. It's gender bender so he thinks she's a guy at the beginning but he finds out after a while and romance slowly ensues. It's also one of the funniest manga I have ever read.

I have to say i love this genre. I am a guy and love tomboys to a huge extent. My all time favorite anime and manga female is Tatsuki from bleach. Some of my friends find it weird that i like flat chested tomboys more than large chested girly types but what can i do right? I can't find many of these mangas out there so please keep them coming.

PS - Ichigo x Tatsuki all the way!
