Anytime I ever post a request, it always seems to be about romance...It's like this unending thirst! I need more please! And there are so many threads to go through, I'd rather hear peoples' opinions on a good romance manga then what a popularity vote says, so yes, if you people have any suggestions for romances that almost literally carved itself into the very breeches of your soul then I would love to be recommended them, please? You know, I think its because I can live vicariously through the characters is what makes me addicted so much, its obviously not because I'm a horny teenage girl...we'll leave it at that, well actually, I don't mean a manga about some horndog dude who is all freaky and possessive and the chick is all like, "As he was pinning my wrists against the wall I couldn't help but feel something, a feeling so pleasing!-" or some shit like that. If I wanted to live vicariously through that I would drug myself then walk down a dark alleyway so no, but thank you.
To me that is not love. I would like a relationship between characters that does not develop out of physcial need, as I don't see how that kind of relationship could last very long. Maybe a romance where at first it's more mental, where they don't even need to touch and even you, the reader, can feel it. Once again comedy, tragedy, what-have-you is fine, I'm finding however, as a last thought that the school life romances can be quite irritating and boring unless there is some depth to the story, so unless it's freaking hilarious like Ouran High School Host Club or a well thought out plot line and story, none of those if the cliches in them detract from the story instead of enrich it.
