Yah, it snows where I live. Today we had the first snow of the season, too. Yay snow smile

Well... I have never seen snow...

I want to see it, since it looks pretty... But only want to "see"... I hate the cold... I hate the winter!
When I say this I'm not kidding, but when is 20 ºC I get really cold! I thought I was going to die this year during the winter (9 ºC in the morning, 20 ºC in the afternoon) ... I know I'm not normal (friends, family, they all tell me that) xD But that's the way things work for me...

(Tough it does snow in Brazil... but only in the south of the country, and not always)

wait... 20°C cold? We already go to the pool in this weather! we had -3°C today, in the midwinter we once even had -18°C.
No snow, poor you. Snow looks great. Sometimes it sparkles *.* but beware of yellow snow

Just moved to California, where it snows in the mountains only. So, you can go skiing, and then you can go sunbathing on the beach two hours later.

Personally, I like having seasons, and that means snow. Back home we get about two months a year, and it's nice. Until you get ice on the roads. Spinning out is not nearly as fun in real life as it is on TV. Living in it is very different from visiting it.

I'm in Canada, so lots of snow! : D
It's fun and all to play in, but when you're forced to shovel...

Here it snows all winter, and at least once a year we have a big snow that stays on the ground, even in the city.
We had the 1st snow yesterday, which didn't last, but forecast said it might snow again this week.

It snowed a few times decades ago. But there won't be snow here in my lifetime.

Yeah, since I live in New York it's cold and snowy in the winter, and hot in the summer. While I do enjoy when it does snow, I wouldn't want it all the time.

I live in this lovely little village in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains. none
We have ski resorts not too far away - to the south.
There has been snow on the ground since early fall. I wonder if it ever really goes away...

Yesterday. Perfect snowflakes, big yet light and fluffy.
Today it is just awfully cold. Which I like a lot. Snow a s well.
We have seasons here so it never gets boring. Though this year it snowed in november which is very early.

-18ºC?! Wow! I would be long dead if I lived where you live!!! I was born to (be alive) live in a tropical place!

Now it's 31ºC ... perfect for me... Not too hot nor too cold...
You should spend your vacation here xD

What's the deal with yellow snow?

I said yes, all the time. However, it only snows all the time during winter, for obvious reasons. We already have snow ... It's scenic on trees, and snowstorms are beautiful to watch, but it's definitly not enjoyable when you're walking though it and it goes though your boots/shoes and get your feet wet.

Pffft. -18ºC is child's play.
Currently -20ºC here and that's not even cold yet.
Around January -30ºC is not that uncommon.
It feels as if one's face was being cut with a knife.
The sad thing is that I absolutely hate cold as well as snow,
since they are synonyms here. Ironically I live in one of
the coldest countries in the world.
