The worst option available for TF2 and you got that one >_<

All you 360/PS3 fools are missing out on the best way to play the game.

Stat tracking!

Actually we do get our stats tracked. We can also compare our stats to people that are in our range of skill as well as the top 50 players.

So how's finding a server full of people coming? I heard it wasn't too great on the 360 and it should be infinitely worse on the PS3.

WTF you are talkin' 'bout?
TF2 (and TF вообще) are PC game only. Everything else is stupid as cat of my former classmate

tf2.sakha.net - our server biggrin

Actually I have no problems finding a full server whatsoever. At worst cases I play on servers with 8-10 people.

May I ask how big the battles can become? I really like huge matches like Counter-Strike's 16v16 battles.

I'm praying I don't get dizzy like I did recently with Metroid Prime and Halo on the consoles.

They do have those kind of numbers...I think battles can be a little bigger..I'm not sure...since my gaming computer is down and I can't check the servers haha...^^;

You should've seen my screen when I was playing in a 64 slot server in Counter Strike...People were all huddled up in spawn...Not to mention AWPS bursting every where. (A bit off the Team fortress thing but, just wanted to add something ;))

I didn't know they were makin' an orange box for the ps3...o_O

I can understand the Xbox 360 but, the PS3!?

the PS3 version was developed by EA games, the 360 and PC by valve...

Most of that score is attributable to the superb quality of the core Valve games rather than the shoddy conversion work which sees one game out of the five ruined, and another badly compromised. That being the case, if you own a PC, even a relatively lightweight one, that version will almost certainly be the better - and definitely cheaper - purchase.

I play TF2 on PC with the setup:
E6600 stock
8800GTS 640mb
2gb RAM
Windows XPsp2
works like a charm on full grafs.
been playing for a few weeks now (bought it as soon as it hit the stores, not steam)
I normaly stick with the servers that offer 32 players. (highest i've seen)
I cant say I can find something bad about this game. just that it's must have mostly as it brings together so many ways of playing in a balanced soup of awesomeness.

Updates are coming!

Badlands was just released today. The new game mode and class changes should be happening soon.

In case you missed it (or don't watch Zero Punctuation):
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zerop unctuation/2928-Zero-Punctuation-Sim-City-Societies

You can skip the Sim City review and go directly to ~3:30. Happy Singles Awareness Day!

PS. And Yahtzee's Orange Box review here

Oh, and playing TF2 on a controller is about the same as playing it on a mouse+keyboard... with no fingers. So don't do it.

And the best addition of the new update is this, of course:
* Added flamethrower "sizzle" sound when the Pyro is hitting a target
Nothing like the smell of burning spies to start a day =P

It's been a few days since the Soldier and Demoman change. How does it feel to everyone else? I just step on ammo more often as Soldier so there isn't a huge change. I'm not counting the first hour where I had no idea the ammo count was different >_>

The balance was probably supposed to tone town the rocket/gren spam. Somehow I only felt it on the Demoman - especially when defending some random chokepoints.

What's much more important is the upcoming Gold Rush. Badlands was OK, bud just more of the same. But GR looks like something fresh. Go go PeeCee-gaming.
