It's about this girl who has no memory of anything from before she started living with this family one year ago. She's living a normal human life, when suddenly she discovers that there's more to her story, and that she might not be so human after all. She is both a girl who has to realize her powers and fulfill her destiny as well as being involved with an organization who knows the truth about her. And there's definitely romance.

Watch the anime, though. It's better, because it came first.
