Yukino and Arima from Kare Kano. There are others I liked more or less but this one stands out as the most prominent in my mind.

My fave are Ryuji and Tsukasa from Tokyo Crazy Paradise Because they are a shoujo couple that kick ass

Next Rain and Machika from Immortal Rain they also kick ass

And then would be Kail and Yuri lol they are a one of my fave of all time couple.

Last would be Tsukasa and Tsukushi from Hana Yori Dango What can you say it's Tsukasa and Tsukushi lol they have weird but really cute relationship.

i like strong characters both boy and girl have to be strong characters for me to like their relationship. It doesn't mean they have to beat people up it means characters who don't give up and have really strong minds.

Sarasa and the red king (forgot his real name XD), though it doesn't work out, they're both very strong --> Basara

Hanabi and Yasuaki H3 school

I don't know of any shoujo doujin, 'cept Ouran yaoi and some CardCaptor Sakura smut. It's hard to find.

One of the best shoujo couples has to be Sakura/Syaoran, if only 'cause Clamp has managed to make it work in two different (sort of three/four) different incarnations. Touya/Yuki and Fai/Kurogane also rock, but I assume this thread's more for het ships.

Otani/Kozumi's (LovCom) got my vote for being such an utterly normal ship. Yeah, they get into craziness, but the author's very good about keeping them from lapsing into a bad cycle of jealousy/insecurity. One of those ships where I feel like I'm really reading about the couple growing together (and it not just being about them stepping up how physical they get with it each other).

I think I maybe the only person to say this, but I kind of think Ryouki/Hatsumi from Hot Gimmick is a great example of the classic shoujo ship. It's a trainwreck and it's got the control freak pervert boyfriend and airhead ditz too nice for her own good girl friend, but it's such a mix of *groan* and *aww* moments that it works (at least much better than a lot of other manga's that employ the same tropes.)

and the mother and father from Tohru, Tohru and Kyou and rin and hatsuharu
Special A couples and jay and J from 100% perfect girl!!
well and many many more, but i'm not really good in remembering names

I would have to go with the future pairing of Kyoko and Ren in Skip Beat. Of course the best manga would have the best pairing...
Second best would go to another future (?) pairing, Sachie and Rakuto in Arakure.
Third place...? I don't know right now. I'll have to think on that...

- Ryoki x Hatsumi (Hot Gimmick). I understand some people hate the guy for being so abusive, and Hatsumi for being such a doormat, but honestly, they're such opposites it's interesting.

- Domyouji x Tsukushi (Hana Yori Dango)

Akito/Sana all the way! I especially love their conversation when they officially start going out... about staying the same while being all mushy (Akito is just sooo funny!)
