Yes. I played the violin for 7 years in an orchestra and I've played the trombone for almost the same amount of time. I'm saving up to buy my own of each so I don't have to use the school's instruments anymore.

Acoustic guitar and bass, just a hobby. I love music, but not everybody is good in everything they like.

It's one of my goals in life to learn to play an instrument. I have always wanted to learn to play the flute, piano and violin. But my mother doesn't want to pay for lessons. T_T

Not for my life. I have tried playing the harmonium and piano. My hands can't cooperate with each other though. I find it difficult to keep both of my hands moving in different positions. Should probably have tried more. roll

I quit piano a few years ago. I was terrible at it, haha. I can play the flute too but I haven't played much since I quit band. Oh, I've taken up bass guitar recently. I'm pretty bad but it's still a lot of fun.

I have been playing the trombone since 6th grade, so about eleven and a half years. I have always wanted to learn to play the cello, but I have never had the money for lessons and my school didn't have an orchestra.

Used to. No longer. Pretty much the same reason as anything and everything else, religion bans music. Soon as I turned 16 everything had to go.

Not to deny that I forgot half of what I learned already... In any case, I know a bit of piano. Not enough to brag about, but enough to know how to read music sheets and play them, at least, easy ones. I know the basics in any case. Let's just say, I wasn't the most enthusiastic student, or at least, in my parent's eyes. For me, it's like everything else, I took it as a given. I didn't especially like or dislike piano. I mean, as a child, they took me to learn almost everything. Skating swimming piano pottery art photography and whatever else, piano was just one and another of them. I like learning things, but it can be frustrating when my OCD kicks in and forces me to start from the top whenever I make a tiny mistake. Probably the whole reason my parents think I didn't like it and don't practice. I do, it's just it always ends up with me wanting to flip some table. Plus, it's embarrassing when other people hear me... at that time we rented half the house out, and one of the tenants had really good ears. And I mean REAL good, she'd hear a needle drop a mile away. I stopped my sewing hobby after she heard me playing with the sewing machine after midnight. Anyways, it's nostalgic and I would love to go back to it though, but I'm probably too old by now to walk in a piano class without getting embarrassed, even without religion coming in.

At one point, I wanted to learn violin, they said it was too hard and I gave up persuading since it was just a thought that violins sounded prettier than pianos that I said that... Learning guitar at school was fun though, but I could only play the songs I learned since I STILL don't know which notes are which lol. Rather than learned, it's more closer to memorized. Given the years, forgot everything.

I can play guitar. Joined a band as lead in high school and played in a few bars in college. Honestly though, I would like to learn how to play violin or keyboards. Never learned how to read sheet so I think it'll be hard xp

I played saxophone in elementary school for a good year. Seems like it was longer than that. It was enjoyable, and I grew close to my teacher. Also played recorder and bells during that time, but don't know if that really counts.

Later on I made an attempt to learn acoustic guitar but just didn't have the passion for it.

I played piano and violin throughout elementary/high school and trombone in high school. I don't play anything now, I liked music but it was never a passion or anything.

I used to play the harp when I was young. Now I'm trying to play the piano.
