What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Can't remember name of series

Hey,
So a long time ago I read a series about a pair of, i think it was cousins, who hadn't seen each other since they were kids. Around 10-15 years later they move back in together but it turns out one of them is a hermaphrodite.
The hermaphrodite had long brownish hair and the other one had short black hair.
That's pretty much all I can remember.
Hope someone knows it.
