Well, it has happen at last DNAngel has reached it's conclusion.

I think...

Honestly, what was that!? That's how she's going to leave us! It claims to be over, but what the hell? She left with so much not answered. Not that I'm suprised, but... really?

So, that's my two cents. Thoughts anyone?

well there will be a part 2 in about 6 months.... so its not really a ending but more than likely a half way point.

Yea, I'm looking at it more like how Rosario+Vampire first ended then a true ending.. because if not that got to be one of the most aggravating ending an author could of come up with.

I gave up on DNAngel and her other series. She's known for not finishing her works, so I'm gonna avoid her stuff until I see at least 1/2 of her series finished.

I totally remember the author said there will be a part 2. I don't remember any specification, but I have faith in Sugisaki. The hiatuses were long (although I got into it after the long 4 year hiatus), but I'm willing to wait because D N Angel is my favorite series of all time biggrin.

Well, if anyone is still looking through this chat, I'm quite disappointed after I read "Discontinued." I was looking forward to an ending (I'm only at Vol. 4). But still........it's 2014 now and apparently there's been no update, and the last post here was in 2011........what's with mangakas these days...?

It says in the artist bio that she's working on "reviving DNAngel," but who knows when the last time that was updated, honestly.

With this particular mangaka, you can be pretty sure that anything you read by her will be put on hiatus for extended periods of time. It's one of her trademarks, I guess.

Idk...based on past experiences/trauma with other manga, as much as it pains me to say this, I'd rather Sugisaki-sensei remain on eternal hiatus rather than write increasingly bad chapters. DNAngel was my first manga ever and I just want to be left with good memories, not a train wreck of an ending. I totally, completely understand the frustration and I feel the same way, but I try to remind myself of what can happen when a mangaka forces themselves to finish something they currently have no inspiration for.
