First Anime: that's easy. Sailor Moon. I was maybe 5 or 6. Got up really early before school started to catch glimpses of it whenever my parent's old rabbit-eared tv could receive it. My friends and I each chose to be Sailor Scouts. Yours truly was meatball head!!
First Manwa: Master Q. I couldn't read it in Chinese but I got a kick out of it anyway. I still can't read it for the life of me.
First Manga: Probably Bloody Kiss or Juushin Enbu. Then again, I didn't start reading until after college.

First Anime: Sailor Moon, on the telly with my little brother. Good times, good times. Also Cardcaptor Sakura around the same time. My little child-self was obsessed with that show.
First Manga: Ranma 1/2. I remember sneaking around my cousin's basement to read the volumes. But now that I think about it, I didn't understand more than half of it at the time.

My first anime was Sailor Moon.
My first manga was probably Sailor Moon, but it might have been Fruits Basket, Chobits, Ayashi No Ceres, or anything else. I started reading manga titles several at a time when I started.

Manga: Hunter X Hunter
p/s Dragon Ball should be the first of all anime and manga I have been exposed to by yellow-colored paper manga and VHS tape. The above are the first I get from internet source.

Anime: Ranma 1/2, Yu Yu Hakusho, The Law of Ueki, FMA basically what Animax used to air.
Manga: Bleach and Naruto. Interestingly I have dropped both of these manga.

I can't really remember exactly, because I was still so young, probably 3-4 years old. It's between Doraemon (classic lol) and anime about tamiya (Yonkuro), I watched them at same times. Later on was Saint Saiya.
First manga I still remember...It's Doraemon vol. 08 that I got when I was 4 years old ^^

First anime I remember watching, probably Akira back when I was like 10 getting on 20 years ago. Apparently there was quite a bit before that, like loving mysterious cities of gold as a younger kid, can't remember that though.

my first anime which I can clearly remember was Versailles no Bara.so I am that old,he he
My first manga was Haou Airen which I read 3 years ago-I mean, manga with an ending. I haven't touched a real manga yet I have to read scanlations. my country is so far out of the manga culture. in short I appreciate those who make translated scanlations.

The first anime i was aware of: Golden Boy

Anime: When I was in 4th or 5th grade I stayed up once and saw dbz/yuyu hakusho at like 2am.... so whichever came on first.... the remainder of the year was spent sleeping in class so I could see the episodes xD
Manga: Beet the Vandel buster. Saw it on the shelf of books-a-million while playing yu-gi-oh.... was instantly hooked on it...... and then insanely disappointed when it stopped coming out in a year T-T.
