Sailor Moon, when I was about 4 or 5 years old. It was great.
It was also the one I watched first after "hating" anime for like 10 years or so (stereotypes, yea~).
My first manga was probably Hellsing.

First manga: Yu-Gi-Oh, since I liked playing monster cards, still like it even now lol.
First anime: I don't really like anime, have always been the cartoon-type. Oh, the golden age of Cartoon Network ... Well, I came across Pokemon eventually on TV.

First anime pokemon, however at the time I did not know it was an anime, second was dragonball, again did not know it was an anime, always thought they were cartoon, but the first anime I knew was an anime was Naruto. The first manga is a tougher one to remember but I think it was one of the big three, most likely Naruto or Bleach, really not sure.

Girl Friends
My first manga is supposed to be Skip Beat because the ending of the anime was unsatisfying, but instead I went on a GL reading spree. I only started to read Skip Beat 5 months later.

That sounds just like me, i think my first anime was ninja scroll or guyver when i was about 4-5 years old. But I didnt really know what anime/manga was before i turned 16. And that was when i discovered manga, and i was such a noob that i read my first chapters on youtube.. Thats actually sad, when i think about it.
Oh yeah first manga was naruto.

Anime -- Dragonball Z, and like someone else said, at the time I didn't know it was "anime"... just seemed like a cartoon geared toward "grown ups" lol...
and years & years later...
Manga -- Fairy Tail ! Even though it's such a typical shounen and I've since discovered much better mangas, it remains my favorite 'cuz it is my first. ^^

My first Anime was "Dragon Ball Z"
Hey guys, I would have to admit that this is not really the right place to approach a help from you. Anyways, here's my request, and I hope you will just bear with me. I have lots of manga comics at home but my problem was, most of the comics I had were all translated in Japanse. I can comprehend Japanese but slight only. Nevertheless, I am eager to learn and to develop my Japanese speaking/reading skills. Can some boy suggest to me a site that translate Japanese or any other site that teaches Japanese. Pls. help.

Manga: Hmm..I can't really remember, I've watched TONS of anime but I never really read manga, not 'till I was about 12 or 13 though. I have to say Naruto was my first one

I watched first anime when I way five years old, so it must have been... Sailor Moon, I guess?
However, it took me great deal longer to discover manga, 12-13 years to be exact. The first manga I read was Suzuka by SEO Kouji after watching the anime - 18 volumes and I was hooked ^_^
