Hmm, this will be tough to explain. Here are a few ways of what I'm looking for:
1) One of the main characters have lost hope or the will to live, basically reached rock bottom in their life. Then the other main characters comes along and saves them from the "darkness" (I can't find other words to explain this...).
2) Both of the main characters have pretty much lost the will to live, they meet and pretty much give each other newfound hope.
Factors I'm looking for:
a) The two characters don't necessarily have to be in some kind of romantic relationship with each other, it could just be a strong bond between friends. This also means that they could be of the same gender. If there were any romance involved though, then the love for each other could be the way that they didn't give up on life.
b) I'm mainly looking for how they realized that they shouldn't give up on life because of/for the other character.
Additional info:
I) Any genre is fine. I'm mainly for looking for seinen, but if any story fits from other genres, then please go ahead and recommend it.
II) Romance isn't the main point here. But it can be an important factor why the characters learned to love life again.
Whew, that's pretty much the description. The story doesn't have to include all of these factors, but I hope that it can fit most of the criteria.
Btw, a perfect example is Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan. It fits 2, a, and I.
I am aware of these similar threads: I Was Lost But Now I'm Found after falling in despair, found hope again They gave up on life.
But I do accept yaoi/yuri and pretty much all, also I'm not looking for something that triggered in their life that made them motivated again, I'm looking for someone.
I feel like I won't get that much replies, but whatever you think fits best. Somehow I feel like I made the topic title a bit dramatic.
Thanks to everyone that recommends. (:

Kuroshitsuji
Three years ago he was kidnapped and tortured, and though he prayed to God, no one saved him, so he eventually lost hope. Then a demon appeared before him and made a contract with him, effectually saving his life as well as giving him something to live for (revenge). Now, the demon lives with him as his butler, serving his wishes until their contract is completed.
They definitely have a bond. It's twisted, but it's probably stronger than any other manga relationships.

Kyuuketsuki no Shouzou, Dengeki Daisy, Hana no Namae, Sad (Lovely) Words, Rainbow, Pieta, Beast in the Tower, Hakuji, the whole Wild Fangs series, Cut and Cat Street all have this, to varying degrees.
EDIT:
@ShadowSakura, I believe guigui1992 meant Hana no Namae... But I could be wrong.

Welcome to the NHK! is explicitly about this, but it's kind of an ambiguously negative take on the idea.

@guigui1992 I know the one your referring to it's called hana no namae!
Spoiler (highlight to view) It's the one where her parents moved away when she was little and after a month of their return they die and she goes off to live with her "relative" don't remember the story, he's not related by blood. Anyway, he's a novelist and he writes a book called hana!
Very nice one. Very well developed. Both had lost the will to live or to live happily at least. Then they meet each other and both become each other strength. I do recommend it. It is so short though.
Another idea is Chrno Crusade! A lot of people who lost their ways and are struggling together to find their path again! And a classic. One of the few ones you truly hates the villain.
What else? Well I'm actually much more well versed on shoujos. So you might want someone else's opinion.
Yep, I thought a lot but the others I do know are pretty much too focused on the romance part.

Cat Street I agree with. I also think Komatta... i can't remember the manga name deng it! >< It fits what you are asking for, depending on the way you see it; it might not be a main factor to the story, actually..
Are you looking for it to be a very major theme in the story? Or is it okay to be "low key" in the stories?
