I don't dislike eba too much even though she was stupid enough to leave haruto, but anyone who was put into a position like what eba just experienceed would have made the same descision out of guilt
I don't agree. That's like your wife leaving you for another man because she would feel guilty rejecting him. It's not normal to put the feelings of someone you like as a friend above the feelings of someone you love. The guy in the last post said it seemed forced, I agree with him. Her character completely changed. It took me out of the story too. Before, she was fun loving happy outgoing girl who went after what she wanted, but in Tokyo she was serious, down, and cold. It put a sour taste in my mouth and I haven't really enjoyed the story since then because you never know what kind of off the wall crap the author might throw out. Just like his last series.
Till this day, she has never explained why she did that and if I were Haruto I would still want to hear an explanation. But he's totally forgiven her. However, I don't know if you could ever really completely forgive someone for doing something like that.
When the manga 1st started and eba moved into Haruto's house, she made her feelings for him clear right off the bat. She even started that her goal was to be with him. She knew what she wanted and she went after it. Not only was she in love with him, but she had been in love with him for a long time. Haruto resisted her at every turn, but when her visit was about over, he gave in and they became a couple.
Now, a person that harbors a love for 8 years and then goes to all the trouble to move in with you just in order to be with you, is not the same kind of person that would move home and then start dating someone else without telling you. The author could of come up with many different ways to pull it off and make it more believable, but for some reason he didn't.
This must be popular in Japan since there making an Anime. It's also has 19 or so volumes so it must sell really well. I just don't understand why the Japanese public keeps shelling out money for poorly planned hard to believe drama. It just gauntertees that this type of bad writing will keep coming. It reenforces the idea that the writers don't have to put much effort into their stories and they can force any kind of drama in but as long as the art is good it will sell.
I have a hard time getting the words out to express how I really feel. Basically I'm just saying I wish the readers would stop buying stuff like this and force the writers to writer better and smarter stuff.
Even though I say all this, I still read this every week, but man it does piss me off.
