Historie is excellent. For me, it was the series that made me value manga again.

Mushishi is equally good, although slower-paced, more poetic.

And there's Yotsubato!, which is virtually impossible to dislike.

Some of these I picked out of your wish list, some are from my own lists.

Fantasy / supernatural - Mushishi , Gogo Monster , Majo

Psychological thriller - Monster , Billy Bat , Pluto , 20 Seiki Shounen

Shounen-ai (You don't mind it, right?) - Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru

Adventure + comedy - Eroica Yori Ai wo Komete

Cute - Yotsubato! , Noramimi , Kokoro ni Hana wo!!

If you like cats / animals in general + comedy - Chii's Sweet Home , Doubutsu no Oishasan

Sports - One Outs , Ping Pong

Slice-of-life - YKK , Hanaotoko

Action + historical - Vinland Saga , Historie

Darkly psychological - Helter Skelter , Tekkonkinkreet , Pet Shop of Horrors

Sci-fi - Himitsu

Drama - Golden Days

Historical + slice-of-life + action - Takemitsu Zamurai

Game-show type mind-play - Liar Game

Weird, creepy (and occasionally funny) horror + psychological undertones - Franken Fran , Soil

Supernatural + slice-of-life - Natsume Yuujinchou

Action + comedy - Get Backers (This gets much better later on, imo)

And lastly, something outside my field of expertise;
Romance - Maybe Blood Alone , Planetes , Marie no Kanaderu Ongaku and Otoyomegatari...

Take your pick biggrin
I hope at least one of these titles will make you feel the desire to read manga again!

Well i watched the anime of Natsume Yuujinchou , and i really liked it, since i love Supernatural, so if you are interested in Supernatural, is a nice read, i like how the main character is ^_^
i havent watched/read Mushishi, but it seems like a good option, yeah for the Supernatural.

Full Moon o Sagashite is a good romance/drama read.
Also Dengeki Daisy - for me it's one of the best shoujo that I read, Interesting, a little mystery and romance.
Pandora Hearts - a really twisted and cool story.
Kobato - heartwarming feeling.
For more action D.Gray-man and great Fullmetal Alchemist.
For good laugh and easy-to-like characters Ouran High School Host Club and Beauty Pop smile
