When we were kids we used to take 20 gallon propane tanks and bury them in a bean feild so you could only see the top part with the vavle. Then we would take a gun and shoot off the vavle and watch the tank explode and create a crater in the feild.
Also i was kid that like to climb everything and anything but for some reason i always forget that i was deadly afraid of heights. So when i was horseback riding and my parents would take a beer break i would go explore so i didn't have to the drunk people they hung out with. So i would always find the biggest rock face that i could and start to climb. I would always get to the very top and be done climbing then look down and see where i was from the top i be 200 feet up looking down at jagged rocks shitting my pants. I would always just sit there until my dad would come looking for me because he knew i always did that. He laughed when he would see me sitting there on the side of a rockface my face pail looking like im gonna hurl and pass out. We have so many pictures of me stuck like that but for some reason i always did it not thinking of how to get down. Hell i still do it alot harder after you start to drink though.

- I poked my aunt in the behind in church, everyone stared at her when she yelled.
- Used to ride in between the trains.
- Afterschool a me and a couple of friends went swimming in the fountains(lincoln center).
- Tried to cook rice in a tiny cup and nearly burned the house down.
- Since i lived in the 5th floor me and my neighbor would make a contest of who can get to the basement first by climing down the fire escape(not using the stair) .
- afterschool fight broke out into the street, a car thankfully braked in time, unfortunately the driver was a school teacher.
Thats all i can remember besides facing my mother(until this day she scares me) i dont remember doing anything too dangerous.

All the dangerous stuff I did would put me in jail so I'm not mentioning it.

Ohhhh that reminds me... Sometimes on long car trips my mom would pull over to the side of the road & take a nap rather than driving while sleepy. My brother & I would mostly amuse ourselves in safe ways, but I do remember standing on the white line beside the road & enjoying the wind & the "whooosh!" as the semi trucks went by. We probably gave those poor truckers a fright! laugh

The homes in my neighborhood were built over the old San Fernando Orange Orchards. (If you were alive in the 40's and 50's you would know what I'm talking about). So there were still a lot of orange trees in everybody's yards, and we used to pick them and stand on the roofs and throw them into traffic. Not too dangerous for us, but we could have caused some pretty bad accidents.

Also picking oranges alone is kind of dangerous for kids because the trees grow a very high canopy and the fruit bearing branches are covered with thorns, and bees love orange trees as well. Still, my parents forced me up into the trees to pick fruit for hours on end every summer. I used to come home covered in scratches from the thorns and once upset a beehive and had to jump into my neighbors pool. Luckily we ad an exterminator who lived on our block and he would keep the bee population down for everyone for free.

Once we made a tire spin down the street, which is like a hill. We tossed a plate (from the drum) from the second floor, missed a kid riding he's bicycle for 5cm (2 inches and something). Me, my neighbors and their cousins were quite united so anytime there was a kid picking with any of us there would be the "call of war", we would all get together and kick the ass of whorever would have something against us. The most dangerous thing I think was when I jumped in front of a car to save my dog, Bob Marley.

Once my friends and I hanging out and thinking about how to get back at a teacher we couldn't stand. She lived over in the next neighborhood. So she had to drive by the corner were we hung out. One night someone had a Roman candle and light and decided to throw it at her car as she went by. Unfortunately her window was rolled down. 'nuf said. Please don't ever try this

laugh They didn't do anything to you while you're in jail... you know, like in the prison movies?

I can't imagine the look on your parents' faces when they picked you up from jail.
