I will totally do whatever I have to to get that game. Begging on my hands and knees is no problem with that song list. I just hope my husband gives me some money!

Tried the demo of it on my 360 but I was sadly failing at it since I don't have a guitar controller for it.
The PS2 version is in my gamefly que since I don't have the 110$ to drop on the 360 version. Plus if I had the 110 bucks I'd still wait like a few weeks and pick up Rock Band since it's like only 50 bucks more, and then rent it so from gamefly so that I would have both.
Edit: Found out today that you can't use the Rockband guitar for GHIII and vice versa for the 360. However you can use the GHII controller for the 360 on Rockband. Weird.

have the 360 one pre-ordered. just have to wait another 2 1/2 days. That and CoD4 will keep my busy till rock band comes out

I can't decide if I can actually enjoy the game or not. I can remember DJ Max Portable (PSP) destroying me and Guitar Hero seems to have the same style of play except with a guitar. I really should have tried the game out when I was at Best Buy awhile back. I tried the demo at Gamestop with the controller but that's not the same.
I would only be able to get the Wii or PS2 version so that sucks even more... or maybe not.

I'm gonna get it for Xbox 360 (I also have GH2 for 360. Although I own both GH and GH2 for PS2 (Yes, I bought GH2 twice!), aswell), probably a week from today.
I know it comes out Sunday, but I won't have any money until a week from today, so thats the day i'll pick it up.
I downloaded the demo earlier on Xbox Live, and it's awesome. Although, the local Gamestop had it up to play, so I got to play it before it was on XBL.
For the record, I am also gonna get Rock Band.

I got guitar hero 3 yesterday, Beat easy all perfect, beat medium all fives, and am currently on hard. Through the fire and flames is a bitch. I can pretty much beat any song on the previous ghs but i lost on hard to dragon force...http://youtube.com/watch?v=W4M7f4-bhbE this is crazy

Just read the playlist not getting the game but good luck to anyone trying to play
DragonForce - Through the Fire and Flames I listen to that song at least once a week so I know how fast it is. And the song being 8 minutes long doesn't help.

Yeah I just did that song on hard and it made my hands hurt bad.  That song is a major bitch.

I'll bow to anyone who can get perfect on that 
EDIT: finally got a copy of GH3 but still no guitar controller guess i'm still stuck with the regular PS2 controller  well whatever...finished career normal with all gold stars and hard with 4-5 stars...through the fire and flames on hard is almost impossible without the guitar controller...only got 79% on the PS2 controller >.> i'm surprised i even got 79%...
expert level...no longer possible...hands feel numb
