It says there is a romantic subplot in this, and i am just wondering if somthing develops later or if it is just a miscatorgarizing (invented word). This thread will have SPOILERS so don't read if not interested in knowing. I was also wondering if he actually gets older, cause it seems like there are glimpses of him older. Does that go anywhere?
just about the only romance i see is valmer's(eyepatch) crush on koko and koko possibly being a shotakon or lil brother complex ...however it would be nice if kid gets older and something grows from that ... though hed have to fight off knife girl..that said id also like to know from someone whos read the whole thing and gotta say i cant believe i never heard of this manga til anime came out...great work thus far!
In episode 22 in the anime KoKo confesses her love for Johan and asks him to join her in the 'new world' not sure about the manga but i assume the same happens
