First one comes to mind is definitely Bunny Drop by Unita Yumi. First few volumes in particular are centered on the relationship between the man and his six-year-old aunt (from his grandfather and an initially unknown mother), who no-one else was willing to take. It later skips ten years and focuses more on the girl herself and her personal experiences I understand.
