I'm looking for a romance where two people work together to achieve their dreams.

Examples:

Ashita no Ousama - A playwright and an actor stimulate each other's creativity, with the playwright creating stories and roles that the actor interprets and brings to life.

Nodame Cantabile - Two music students, one disciplined and the other spontaneous, expand each other's horizons and inspire each other to become better musicians.

Saiunkoku Monogatari - An emperor opens the path for a woman to become a government official, and she in turn helps him govern the country.

Yumeiro Patissiere - Two pastrymaking students train together. One usually comes up with the design ideas and the other has the technique to execute them.

Manga/manhwa/manhua, books, movies, TV series, etc., are welcome.

Any genre, including BL and GL, is welcome.

Thank you~~

Venus Capriccio (pianists..one working hard to be a world-known pianist and the other a piano tuner -,-")

Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen (marries each other for the betterment of their own warring countries - does this count as teamwork?)

Beauty Pop (working hard to be pro-hairstylists)

Lapis Lazuli no Oukan (from what I remember they train to be powerful magic users for their kingdom, one is a prince and the girl is a powerful magician)

Mekakushi no Kuni (the girl can see the future, the guy can see the past)

24 Colors (not sure if they work hard to achieve their dream here, but they are both good in painting..read this a loong time ago)

Cat Street: they are friends and each supporting the other to reach their goals
Swan a story about ballet. Really really good
[m]Kanon[m]: composer, violinist
Diva (ONO Hiromu) violinist, opera singer
Basilis no Musume sculptor and he supports her
Pony Tail
W Juliet actor/actress
Mo Hitori No Marionette: script writer/actress
Glass mask is an excellent manga if only it's finish. After years, it is still an ongoing manga

This manga half fits what you're looking for, but its great netherless (they're not romantically linked, but they both work together to fufill a dream)
Cloth Road A brother and sister work together as designer and model to basically "become the best" its starts of slow, but it gets better after the first four or so chapters :] The art is amazing.

I'm suggesting anime because they're ahead of scanlations at the moment --

Spice and Wolf -- Taking place in olden times, Kraft Lawrence is a traveling peddler, hoping to open his own shop one day. While on his journey, a beautiful, young girl sneaks into his carriage -- claiming to be a wolf-goddess named Holo of Yoitz (which she does prove!!) Holo strikes a bargain with Lawrence: she will help him increase his profits in exchange for his taking her along with travels (and eventually back to her home up North). biggrin Granted, it's extremely dialogue heavy, and trade-talk can be confusing, the banter and heavy flirting between Holo and Lawrence will keep you glued to the screen!!

Otome Youkai Zakuro -- Another fictional tale. It's the Meiji era in Japan where Japan is becoming Westernized. Half-fox-demon-girl Zakuro must work together with the "dashing" human soldier Agemaki in improving inter-racial(? for lack of a better term) affairs. It's adorable... very nice animation and cute banter between the two leads. biggrin (even if it's not about realizing dreams... per say...)

If you count winning a motorcycle race as a dream, then Yarouze! fits. The 'couple' bit isn't all that prominent, though. I ended up almost forgetting it was supposed to be BL (not that that's a bad thing!)
A bit of advice - don't judge by the first chapter (I almost stopped reading there and then, it was really annoying and perverted <_<), the story gets much better from chapter two onwards.

Kami no Shizuku - They're not a couple yet, but it's a given they'll become so before the end of the series.

Like Violin - Hmm...maybe. I haven't read it, but it sounds a little like Nodame.

Edit - I think Speak Through Colors fits too.

Totally seconding calstine's rec of Yarouze!.

Thank you, everyone!! I've started on some of these, and I'll be getting to the rest.

Any more recommendations? biggrin You guys are good, so I'm getting greedy.

The more the couple mutually benefits each other and prods each other to grow, the better. If one side is already matured and doesn't develop much further, or if only one side mainly helps the other, it's not as interesting. (Well, on some days, I find that sort of thing interesting, just not today. smile )

Also, Land of the Blindfolded isn't really about working toward a goal, but I've always liked that manga and how symbiotic the couple is, so picks like that are good as well.

*sigh I just realized how it's usually one-sided. From my list, the best fit will be Pony Tail if I'm not mistaken since I read it a long time ago. Also, W Juliet and Cat Street. Mixed Vegetables is good too since they both wanted to be chefs. One is pastry chef, one is sushi chef and they both are expected to take over their parents' restaurant although they're not really into what their parents are doing.

Diva (ONO Hiromu) the couple has a dysfunctional relationship. When one rises, the other struggles and vice-versa laugh Nevertheless, they both struggle in their own ways but lacking communication so the others thought: oh... you achieve your success easily

Hrmmm.....I was going to recommend Dengeki Daisy when I saw "teamwork" in the title, changed my mind when I read the full post, and then decided to go ahead as you gave more details. Whatever. If you haven't, try it. It's my favorite of the mangaka's works.

And, um.....Basara. They encourage each other a lot in their goals, and make a great team when they can work together. laugh Probably not what you had in mind. Try it anyway. biggrin
