Dating Frequency

Poll
How often do you need to see/meet the person you're dating? (Provided you're not already living with them.)
Every goddamn second, sweetheart! \o/
Once a day would be nice.
Once every 2-3 days would be ideal.
Once a week, or just on weekends.
Once every 2 weeks.
Once a month.
Whenever I remember that people other than myself actually exist.
NEVER. I'd rather love someone from a (safe) distance...!
I don't date. :|

Still schooling:
(Same school)
At least once a week,
If, hanging out after school inside the cafeteria or just chilling out somewhere isn't considered as dating...

(Different schools)
At least 2 times a month,
But, you should at least go to her school once a week..

In general though,
Once a week if both of you are free...
This, is for dating, not, just seeing each other...

I'm not dating right now cause honestly it's just too much of a hassle but for me once a week is enough. Any longer and it'd feel like it wouldn't be a proper relationship (unless you're long distance or something). Of course we'd have to be texting/IM/skyping through the week.

After highschool I hardly see my friends anyway. Maybe once every fortnight to a couple of months. They're still my best friends that I love to bits and chat with online once in a while. I just don't need that physical contact I suppose.

We live together so we see each other everyday. As for dating though, we only go out on a date once a week. Other free days are for chores and whatnot lol

I put every 2-3 days.

I feel like seeing someone every second of everyday, all the time, is rather suffocating. I think that there needs to be experiences apart so that you can treasure the time you are together. Plus if you're together all the time, how can you tell the other person funny stories about your day or the stupid thing your friend did?
"Oh my god, you should have seen what John did to-... Ah, wait, you did see it... okay this enthusiastic conversation has now been awkwardly axed. ~silence~ And now, IDK what to talk about." That's no fun!
Plus having time away from each other gives both parties enough space to breathe without inhaling each other's carbon dioxide exhalations. It also breeds trust between each other (since a good bf/gf/hubby/wife isn't going to go off and cheat the second they have some freedom). Time to yourself and hangout time with friends is HEALTHY not suspicious. I think relationships are much less likely fail if there is a bit of time apart.

Don't get me wrong though, being with each other is just as important... that's why I think once a week is aproachin' sketchy. I hate to go all cliche and worldly but its a balancing act that is specific to each individual person and relationship. So I'm not tryin' to send out hate cool <3 eyes

I'm not exactly in a relationship but I do go on dates, only on weekends once in a while. I'm not the type who likes having people around me 24/7, I really like my space so even that person should understand. Being around the other person all the time just makes room for more problems to occur between you both. So I think a little distance is good so that when you eventually get to see each other, you won't even want to waste second and the time you spend together is treasured more in your memories.

It's not considered conventional "dating", but I do have three friends whom I have known known for 8+ who are huge influences in my life. Due to attending college in different states, we rarely have the opportunity to meet face to face, but if I don't converse with them once a week I feel dispirited, much like how one feels depressed if they do not get enough sun.

It's actually a fear of mine that one day these friends will choose to love someone and slowly marginalize our time together until they drop off the face of the earth, as seems to be the trend with couples. For all you infatuated people, please make an effort to stay in touch with the OTHER important people in your life, so you don't have any regrets later.

I apologize for rambling, I woke up moody this morning, and this topic struck and emotional chord so I needed to get it off my chest.
