I did skip classes a few times and I skipped school all day about idk 4 or 5 times a year. So I went to school most of the time.

i skipped a few days in high school. for some reason, during my senior year we had two senior skip days.

but when i got to college i never skipped class. for one, the classes are harder. and two, you (or your parents) are paying for your education so that's basically throwing your money down the drain by not going.

Not a habit of mine. I go to classes I absolutely must go to.
If it's not necessary for me to show up and I can just complete
the tests and write essays at home, then not.

I went to two different high schools. The first one you could skip and they wouldn't really care, so I skipped maybe once a month. I'd just walk around town, maybe go to the beach... and usually fall asleep on a bench for a nap, then walk home for 3pm, since my father was at home and he'd get mad if he knew I skipped. I almost did it for my mental stability. bigrazz
My second high school wanted to know where you were at all times during school hours, basically. Think Nazi reform school. And still, I've got a pretty hip mom, so she'd cover for me when I did skip out on occasion.

Uni's much different; I'm enjoying the subjects I'm taking and I [usually] don't want to miss class, and I'm also paying for it on my own. I have, though, skipped out once or twice in classes that are easier.

I had near-perfect attendance grades k-11... and then senior year came along and I said 'screw this sh*t' and skipped over 25 days of the school year.
... And that's only FULL days. I came in late and left halfway through the day so often that I rarely attended one class more than once or twice a week. Ha, that was fun.

I love how I managed to graduate high school with a 4.3 GPA even with all that. laugh

I'm kind of a goody goody. That is not to say I am a perfectly innocent angel, but I am at least a very punctual person and therefore refrain from being late to class. However, last year my entire AP chem class decided to leave school for a bit and go out for lunch and I was dragged along. That was the first time I ever skipped. No regrets. As a senior, I'm usually excused for some reason or another rather than just being absent. Now that it's the end of the year, my attendance record shows a lot of "field trips" and "in school business."

I skip school whenever I feel like it. Skipping school is a sin in every school here.
My parents would kill me whenever I skip school.
I come late to school most of the time. So, I usually skip the first class because if you come late, you have to stand for hours, or do something the teachers told you as a punishment.
If I want to skip, I have to skip all classes. Because I won't be allowed to go to school after the first class ends. none
I'm still in high school now. And I skip a lot of classes last year. It was fun though everyone (parents, teachers, even friends) gets angry because of that.
I usually skip classes because I can't wake up early in the morning. no
Or when I haven't finished my assignment. I'm a procrastinator. bigrazz
I also say sometimes that I don't feel good or I'm sick to skip school. But everyone knows my joke so I will have to come up with a new and better reason next time.

When I was in Highschool I would skip ALL the time.
Except my parents always knew when I did.
I'd call my mom and tell her I was skipping and she said okay and would write me a note for when I came in the next day.

I went in for the important stuff but if I knew it wasn't worth it then... no.

I just graduated college though and let me just say I went to every class possible unless I was DYING. When you pay for that shit don't skip man. Especially if your parents are paying you brat bigrazz

I skipped some days from school when I was younger (grade school), then when I got older, I only skipped some classes here and there (high school and 1st yr college).

Though I must say that I only skipped about 1-2 months before the end of the semester/school year because I'd have decent grades even if I don't show up and do some projects/class work (I'm a B student, obviously not an A).

In high school I skipped classes if I know I'm not prepared for the topic that day and there's a high chance of me getting called on or having a quiz. In college, I skipped when I was hung over from the night before. Both times, I thought it was better not to be there than embarrass myself.

I skipped so often people assumed I had dropped out. Plus when I did show up I would usually skip half my classes......... the teachers were not very fond of me due to this.

Never in primary or secondary school - unless I was sick or got express permission from my mum for some reason or another.
But when I was in sixth form (for those who don't know what that is it's part of the English school system ages around 16-18) I guess I skipped a few times and we were supposed to stay in all day even if we didn't have classes but if my classes were finished I'd just go home.

Then University came and I started skipping the classes I hated all the time. I guess cuz my life feels completely in my own control now so it's my own discretion really.

Doing a year out in a Japanese university though made it difficult cuz you can't pass your modules if you don't go to class <_<
