What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

I'm looking for manga in which the male protagonist enters the magic world or martial art world by unusual means.

Examples are stuff like : Mx0, The Breaker, Veritas.

I don't really mind about the drawings, as long as the story is good, the kind that you can't put down once you start. Preferably, I like these type of manga to be set in a school environment. But, it's okay to recommend any of the others too. ^^ biggrin

As far as I remember The Breaker is so similar to Veritas that it made me stop reading it. But you might enjoy it though.

edit: Excuse me for my eyes having skipped reading The Breaker from the mangas you said you read. I will add others in case I remember some more.

Zero no Tsukaima though I've only watched the anime series of this and don't really know how the manga differs (or doesn't).

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to reading Aphorism and Tenjou Tenge especially, looks like manga I'd stick with to the end.
