Captain Kurosaki Ichigo.. ?

Poll
Which do you prefer?
He will get Aizen's position, after defeating him.. (5th captain position)
He will get one of the other positions.. (3rd or 9th captain position)
When asked, Ichigo will refuse to become a captain..
SS doesn't even think about letting a human to the 13 Squads..

Some speculate that there may be a chance that Ichigo becomes a captain at the end of the series.. What do you all think about that?

Unless the vizards get redeemed somehow he doesn't have a chance as he is one of them in all but name. If they do happen to patch things with the SS I think they would take some of them over Ichigo on the basis of experience and leadership ability.

I hope that he'll refuse. Somehow I don't see him as a captain. Okay, he's got the power and potential, but.
And I agree with Spanky - he's a Vizard, so I don't think they would offer him the position.

Division 15, all the way!

Well I could see him as a captain but unless he ages by the end of the series I doubt it. He's just a bit young/immature. I however am in favor of him becoming one. Or better yet Kurosaki-papa! <3

As it stands I have to say he would probably refuse, but I personally doubt he will even be offered the position, or any at all.

Im pretty sure that if he does he wont be going to SS, since he puts his soul on the line when he fights as a shinigami, if he dies in battle, his soul would be destroyed and I just dont see him dying as the result of something normal.

I agree that Ichigo is immature and that makes it a bad bet at this time. But as far as being young a factor, Hitsugaya is also young and a Captain. However I also hope it does not go that way. Somehow it does not fit, imo. Maybe if Ichigo grows-up a bit more....

SS is going to realize that it they are stronger to mix hallow and shinigami (aka vizzard) thus creating a new law enforcement. like the extream captains or something but if the vizzards follow SS rules things will flow nicely for that....

Hitugaya might be "young" by SS standards but that could still mean he's a few hundred years old. I mean look at Urahara he left the SS over 100 years ago and he looks like he's maybe in his late 30's, and who knows how long he was a captain before that. Ichigo, on the other hand, is 15-16 years old and has no where near the experience needed to be a captain.

worded, even rukia mentioned when she first came into the series that she was atleast 10x older than him, and she's only HS age-ish looking.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
makes you wonder how old ichigo's dad is then?

Maybe the implied death is a natural one. Ichigo living his life as a human then after death go to SS and become a full-time shinigami. Then again...

... he could just go ahead and give Kon his body. It's not like he's been using it as of late and all of his friends and family (except maybe Yuzu) can see him when he's in shinigami form.

Wait a second I may be wrong on this but has there been a shot of him actually leaving his body behind since he trained with the Vizards? It's been so long I can't remember, but I don't seem to recall any.
