Lately it's harder and harder to find any decent seinen manga, wether using this site's genre search function, or searching through forums for any suggestions...so I'd like for those who love seinen manga, to help me ^^

I don't particularly care wether it's action, romance, adventure etc. As long as this manga is seinen, has well written plot, good character development, realistic and atleast is 10+ volumes length.

Some of my favourites: Berserk, Vagabond, Shamo, Shin Angyo Onshi, Akumetsu, Blame!, Eden: It's an Endless World, Lone Wolf & Cub, Skyhigh, Jiraishin, Freesia, Threads of Times, Emma, Island, Blade of the Immortal and so on...

Akumetsu was published in a shounen magazine, hence all the furigana.

Hoshi no Samidare
Mushi-shi
Liar Game
Spice and Wolf

These are ones that I liked, anyways.
You probably read them all, they're pretty famous.

Believers
Mother Sarah
Smuggler

Thanks for all the recommendations. So far I'm thinking about Liar Game and Oyasumi Punpun.

Hoshi no Samidare somehow doesn't look too appealing for me..I don't want to sound rude, but its description sounds silly ^^.

heh, Onani Master Kurosawa was a great read indeed.

More suggestions are always welcome, since I read pretty fast, few mangas won't last biggrin

oh, and I'd really love to see any manhwa you've read.

The description IS silly but the manga is certainly not, it's really good^^ It sounds stupid but it's not^^

I would also recommend Ubel Blatt, even though it's on hiatus right now...
Nononono is also really good I think...

Sun-ken Rock this is my favorite manga, and a must read! it haves it ALL, I MEAN IT ALL!
Until Death Do Us Part bad-ass protagonist, no bullshit just straight lines!
Gantz good story and good depth, think that you have read this
Jormungand about real life situation around the world
Tough a good martial arts seinen manga
Wolf guy - wolfen crest good story gets a bit ugly the further you read (big ass warning)
Shamo real touching story

(Some of those have only 9 volumes released but I hope one volume doesn't make quite a difference)

Still nobody said Vinland Saga? I mean, I can't really be the first to recommend it... biggrin
Claymore same as above.
Angel Densetsu same mangaka of Claymore, personally I found this a lot better tahn Claymore.
Historie is only 6 volumes so far, but since it's the best seinen going on imho I've to suggest it.
Gunslinger Girl is a shounen, but it's more similar to other seinen than other shounen (it's slower in term of pace than other seinen, so if you prefer straight-forward action I'd try something else before, but this is the best manga ever imho so I think it worth at least a try). It has by far the best character development I've ever found in anything.
Monster and anything else by the pen of Urasawa Naoki.
Dance in the Vampire Bund I'm not very update on this, but I enjoyed the start.
Kurozuka I think this one is pretty underrated. I liked it a lot.

and when you're tired of action:
Yotsubato! the king of the refreshing manga (same thing as Gunslinger Girl, it was on a seinen magazine who became a shounen magazine but its target are people older than teens bla bla bla)!
Genshiken well it's Genshiken, a must if you like manga.
Kodomo no Jikan you said you didn't care particularly about genre right? Then well, I personally think that behind the facade (and I know for some people it's hard to watch behind it in a manga like this) there is a very good manga. There is no more the lolicon tag, but if you have problems about pre-adolescent girls talking about sex you shouldn't even start it.

Manhwa:
give it a try to Ares (shounen). Art is pretty strange many people really dislike it (I think it was fine honestly).
Unbalance x 2 my favorite romance seinen manhwa (not that I read many of them lol). It went recently running again from hiatus.
The Breaker a must (seconded).

Great recommendations (though I've read most of them ;d). I'm just curious about Nononono, well, maybe not this specific manga, but gender bender genre. Somehow I didn't dare to try it, ever biggrin but I noticed there are quite a lot of gender bender mangas...how come?

hm, you guys said Sun-ken Rock and Übel Blatt are worth reading. I've seen many people suggesting Übel Blatt, and I've tryed to read it, but personally, didn't like it that much...
About Sun-ken Rock, I guess all that comedy was a bit to much for me ;d

Mysterious Girlfriend X and honeymoon salad are pretty good in the romance/comedy genre.

If you like Berserk you should read Devilman. Only 5 volumes but epic by the end...
For more oldschool offensive genius, Gun Frontier. I have no idea what genre these were meant to be when they were written though.

things like reading the whole of Akira and/or Nausicaa are always worth doing if you're stuck.

Black and White is great.

Also if you like horror, The Drifting Classroom and Gyo are awesome.

Just realised these are all pretty old now, I could do with finding some new series too.. biggrin
