For mangaka with multiple major works (ie. non-oneshots)
Urasawa Naoki
Asano Inio
Takahashi Tsutomu
Samura Hiroaki
Azuma Kiyohiko
On Par with those above:
Endo Hiroki --> I'm judging based only on his oneshots and Eden, so it's a bit premature to call him one of my favorites.

Mashima Hiro (Love all of his works and his humor! Monster Hunter Orage. Fairy Tail. Rave)
Suzuki Julietta (Karakuri Odette, Akuma to Dolce, Kamisama Hajimemashita)
Tite Kubo (Bleach)
Eiichiro Oda (One Piece of course )
Amemiya Yuki/Ichihara Yukino (Not really 'one' mangaka. One does the story the other does the art '07 Ghost'
Miwa Shirow (DOGS)
These aren't really in any particular order. They're just the people who make my favorite stories! Sorry for having more than five....

I could've sworn I already replied to this topic...
1. Otomo Katsuhiro - dude can draw anything and everything, and highly cinematic.
2. Matsumoto Taiyo - surreal aspect appealed to my interest in European comics.
3. Tsuge Yoshiharu - dreamlike storytelling, mindblowing imagery.
4. Ikegami Ryoichi - no-one does hard boiled pulp action better.
5. Igarashi Daisuke/Manabe Shohei (tied) - both very loose in their styles, different stuff.
Runners-up; Tezuka Osamu, Taniguchi Jiro, Oda Hideji, Kojima Goseki, Kuroda Iou.
