In a lot of the childhood friend romance mangas that I've read, it's usually the girl who falls in love first and has to work hard to make the guy see her as a potential lover.

I'm looking for a manga where the guy is the one who has to pine for the girl and wait for her to notice him. I prefer shojo/josei but I'm willing to take other suggestions as well ^_^ No BL/GL, hentai, ecchi, etc. Smut is OK as long as it's not too overdone I'd also be extremely thankful if it's fully scanlated or at least a lot of chapters are scanlated already!

Ryu and Chizuru's relationship inspired me to write this request I absolutely adore how patient and understanding Ryu is! He knows Chizuru SO well and he's always the first one there for her when she needs someone and he's the only one who knows exactly what she needs! Oh, please feel free to recommend any shojo/josei romances with characters who resemble Ryu in personality!

I'm really bad with remember names, but I'm pretty sure the main guy is the one who realizes his feelings first and the girl's too dense to notice. I slightly don't like how ditzy and weak the main female lead is, but it's tolerable (to be honest, the couple I'm reading this for is the devil and hero girl).

I'm not a huge fan of Hwang Mi Ri because her portrayal of the main female lead bothers me, but I think Wait! Wolf is slightly more enjoyable than most of her other works Mainly because I like the male childhood friend, I think.

One of my favorite romances of all time! Adachi Mitsuri is one of my favorite mangakas, ever, even though I mostly only read shojo/josei and his works are classified as shounen. Here, Hiro is the one to realize his love for his childhood friend first, and the rest...if you haven't read it yet, it's a MUST!

I'm looking for a childhood friend romance, mostly shounen or seinen, if any shoujo or josei that's fine, but mostly the first two; four of the plot points i'm looking for should be: where the boy is in love with his childhood friend, who's a girl (duh!), but either he feels like he's gotten to distant from her or is just too shy to admit his feelings to her, where the girl love's the guy, he's just to oblivious about it, or where they both love each other, but are just to shy to tell each other that they're in love....or....where the guy loves her, but his childhood friend is in love with someone else, and vice versa. but the outcome is, they'll both do anything to get together, and eventually will. <no gender bender, no yaoi/shounen-ai, no yuri/shoujo-ai, no male harem>; some adult, ecchi, harem (women), mature, or smut would be nice along with these manga
