Old Movie Title

Member 3:56 am, Nov 5 2007 Posts: 281	I'm looking for the title to an old movie I saw (at least a couple of times) when I was little. I'm almost positive it was a marketing tool for a doll line that had just come out. It was live action and was about this girl who gets a new doll, but it turns out the doll is alive and from the world inside a mirror. The only way to pass through the mirror is to hug. The hugging makes the mirror surface squishy and it can be passed through. Inside the mirror world there's an evil witch in control and there's something to do with a fruit tree (cherries, I think). The fruit's magical or something, but I don't remember why. There's also someone I work with who remembers the movie, but not the title, so I know I didn't make it up. Please help.
