just curious...
for all you guys that say you meet friends online...
what?! ..how?! ...what sites?!

I've had online friendships that have lasted (up till now) at least six years. bigrazz The good thing about online friendships is that it's easy to quickly get in touch without too much fuss, and sometimes when I'd had a break from online chatting I'd easily be able to talk to them again after maybe..half a year?

It's mostly been online friends from the same country, but a couple of years ago I had some online friends from other countries, though I lost contact.

Sadly the community I've been using for more than eight years was deleted last month. Sigh.

Yeah, most likely.
But then I probably wouldn't be as close to them since I don't spend as much time with them as my friends from school...

Yes, I would still have friends. They just wouldn't be portable anymore.

Yeah, I meet people outside of school and work all the time. I usually play a lot of sports and make some good friends.

I prefer a small group of friends that are closely tied.

The same here, having a very closely small group of friends are more fun than a heck of a ton of friends smile cuz some of them are sometime annoyed to me mad

I would have a agree with the two of you, but if that close frendship that you shared with them falls apart it is one of the hardest things to get over. It happened to me with two guys I had known for over 15 years.

Do you mean, if I were to quit school or if I'd never been to school?

Ah, well, doesn't really matter anyway, because I get to know new people through the people I know right now, so I won't be friendless anytime soon! Yay!

I have a few friends, but I'm currently going to school and I can't really say I've made friends here. sad Hoping this will change...

I would still have friends, but they would be a lot different. They would be like neighbors, friends of relatives, or people I meet at parties. Which would be weird, because we would probably have nothing in common, like age, learning the same things in school, have the same circle of friends, or live close by. Yea creating a social live without school would suck, because without having something you all hate to bond over its hard to make friends.

Just going out to places would be easy to meet new people and become friends. I went swimming last weekend at a public pool and met so many new people and became quick friends just like that. Plus work and school is just full of f...ing drama. If you don't have friends in rl get a life and go outside (just be safe). Unless you want to be alone, its okay.
