I looking for a manga where a group of really good friends, who have known each other for a very long time, follow different paths in life. With time the distance between them gets bigger as they are less time together and only get news about how they're going through a third person or rare messages. They are working to achieve their dreams and even though they're apart the girls/boys are really supportive of each other.

I don't know if there is a manga that fits what I'm looking for...
Thanks for your help in advance.

(btw, for anyone who's interested, this came to mind because I recently found that my close friend is now living with her boyfriend. She is studying to become an actress and said that this will make her more independent as she wants to study in London when she finishes the course. Even though we don't hang out as much as we used to when we were in the same school, whenever she has a play we are always on the first row watching her on stage. We only became aware of what was happening to her because one of my friends met her in the subway. It's difficult to face the reality that we are growing, especially for me because I'm really introverted and I always hold on to the past. Is this a stage that everyone goes through when they're coming of age? I just feel that everything is happening really fast and I can't seem to keep up with the rhythm. Sorry for the rambling... I guess I just had to pour my heart out, and for once not keep it all to myself!)

most of the ones I know are friends who are conscious that they are growing apart and try to get together... but Sunadokei has elements of friends growing apart with love begins and ends between 4 friends and they grow apart and have their own life and final love (won't spoil it).

About your circumstance, I can relate because similar events have occurred in my life. Often times, I also feel like I'm walking at a much slower pace than my friends and that everything changes within a flash of a second. I hope your long distance friendship will last a lifetime. smile

I think this somehow fits in with what you're looking for. Kirameki Gingachou Shoutengai. The synopsis says it all.Although it is unfinished so I would second Sunadokei. Also, you couls try checking the coming of age category. There are some... there.

I didn't recommend Kirameki Gingachou Shoutengai because the entire manga is actually about their adventures together, and the interesting adventures they experience. I read the raws and it's more or so a cheerful funny story, so I'm not sure if that fits your description.
