Gintama got me teary lots of times. I definitely cried (sobbed big time actually) after reading Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan. Also Beast Master got me all emotional as well. These are all the titles I could remember where I shed a tear.

While I don't like to admit it, yes. This typically happens to me only with manga, since they are usually more detailed and graphic than anime. The first one was Elfen Lied. Not only was I mindfucked, but the ending of the manga was so heartbreaking I cried quite a few girly tears. I wasn't sniveling and blubbering or anything, but I couldn't stop thinking about it and the tears fell for about ~10 minutes. There have been a few other times, but nothing nearly as bad as Elfen Lied. At most, my eyes watered up a few time at a couple other series, but I can't remember the titles. It's usually when a character dies that I really enjoyed. Sacrifice usually gets me teared up. I get all emotional about these damn fictional characters and I'm 24-year-old man.

Well, there's this video on youtube Sayonara Solitia with clips of the ending of Chrono Crusade. Always tears me up, beautiful song and amazing video. Chrono Crusade in general is fun but very sad.

I don't usually cry because of manga or anime, but I remember that the first time I did was a couple of years ago, when I watched Mew Mew Power (Tokyo Mew Mew in Japanese) I cried when Kishu was begging Zoey/Ichigo to go with him and when Kishu was almost dying and Ichigo was standing next to him. I had hoped till the end that they would somehow end up together and I was really disappointed when she remained with that Masao guy. grrr!!!! What can I say, I'm crazy about unexpected twists and couple pairings!

Nope. Only ever cried reading books. But while reading a manga I have felt that awful heartache sensation that's sort of worse than crying.

But OT, yes. I have cried; when I read Suzuka, tears flowed through my eyes when Spoiler (mouse over to view) Yamato forced the kiss onto Suzuka after finding her in the park.

Anime: Code Geass R2 ending; Grave of the Fireflies; My Neighbour Totoro (If I'm upset)
Manga: Ai-Ren Chobits Fruits Basket Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden Nana Kimi wa Pet Tenshi no Uta 7seeds Kaze Hikaru Orange (TAKANO Ichigo)
The worst were Code Geass and Grave of the Fireflies... no kidding, I cried for at least a couple of hours because of each of those. I guess I cry quite easily, but it's rare for it to be to that extent, unless I get reaaaally attached to a series. It's happened with novels and other things a few times too.

I can't really remember if I've cried at an anime/manga, but I'm almost certain I cried when Spoiler (mouse over to view) Itachi (from Naruto) died.

Chrno Crusade ending. Won't spoil what happened but damn, it almost got me to shed a tear. I had to use all my manly powers to keep them inside... lol
Apart from that, and I don't know if it counts or not, the only movie that got me to cry was Lion King. Was a kid back then but I don't think that matters much for the case

Anime: Code Geass R2 - Spoiler (mouse over to view) I was squeaking with a trembling voice "Hey, Suzaku, don't you dare to kill him!" and then he killed him. T.T And I was on the verge with Kazo no Tani no Naushikaa.
Manga: Deep Love - Ayu no Monogatari - This one is like tear-factory. Nana Orange (TAKANO Ichigo) Kagen no Tsuki
But I never last crying for long because when I start crying the scientist inside me immediately awakens and I'm like: "So this tear-thing, which way will it flow? Where will it leak?" and forget The Reason for crying and then it stops..
Ever happened to anyone else or is it just me weird?
