Lol, my sister was crying at that movie too. Funny thing is, I didn't cry even though I'm over-emotional a lot. My family just stared at her for a bit and she says, "Shut up! It's sad!"
Basically, almost every genre I read makes me cry, but shoujo especially. Even when a story is part comedy, it always has at least one part that chokes me up.

I didn't cry when I watched it and I'm usually very emotional too~

Actually I cheated and read the whole story first, 'cause I know it's going to be sad, before I watched it with other people. I don't like crying in front of others.

Manga and anime, not really. Might come across as a heartless bastard. I will however say, sometimes it does put me in a reflective or contemplative mood.

Saikano
Gunslinger Girl
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Serial Experiments Lain
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien
Grave of the Fireflies
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou

I am relatively new to the manga experience so I can't add much there but I teared up during Fruits Basket anime. I don't remember anything about the story so I plan on reading it also, lets see if makes me tear up.

Eps. 23-24 of Negima is a tear jerker. Totally unexpected considering the first 22 episodes.

I ve cried with many mangas and animes
cant even keep track of how many
But none of them where romance..
I get more emotional with sadness, death and strugle than
with love.
Not that i dont like romance though...biggrin

Oh, and also 07-Ghost... the part where Mikage died... that was really sad too...
Paradise Kiss!!! I still cant believe she left that guy... I cried buckets...
Oh, and Evangelion!!! There were a million parts that made me cry... well, the whole story is kinda sad, isn't it?

Watching Heroic Age makes me shed a little bit tear. Maybe because the good guys are honest in their speech.

Yeah same for me too, though it is my favorite out of all of his works.

I think the only time I've cried was at Nami's flashback about Bellemere in the One Piece anime. Which is incredible, all things considered, but, yeah.
