Its been over ten years since I saw this anime, dont remember the name. What I do remember is that its on an island, one of the episodes I remember a dude with glasses I think running around the island making a huge magic sign/symbol/spell whatever it was, in order to protect the island and the person he was protecting, he was using his sword to do so. I also remember he was doing it at night. I think he was protecting a boy, not sure. Hopefully thats enough info for someone to tell me what it was called.
