How do the masses/the world/society think about the purpose of life..? What do you believe is the purpose of life..? And what is your purpose/goal in life..?

The purpose of life is to eat chicken flavored Lays potato chips...
@Dr. Love... too many topics going by... hard to hold discussions because every new topic is pushed back by 100 new topics in 5minutes... and you aren't even answering your own topics =/

How about make a differnce in someone else's life or help other people? Are those too idealistic?
Anyway, I'm more of an existentialist, each one creates his or her own meaning and purpose.

And...I thought about the purpose of life...and came to a conclusion: death...we live to die...we exist to vanish...foolishly trying to improve ourselfs by breeding new generations...to break the cycle..

Though biologically speaking, it would be that you'd have children..

i think the purpose of life should be living everyday to the fullest, giving it all your best to whatever you wanted to do. be it to help someone, or realise your own dreams. most importantly, stay happy! life's too short already, why make yourself miserable on top of it?
to Gorath: if you're talking about breaking off this cycle of life, then perhaps you should read up on buddhism. in buddhism, to break away from the cycle of life means that you've receive enlightenment. i've thought about it sometimes. what if everyone receives enlightenment? what will happen to this world? this kinda stuff... in the end, i just brush off these questions off my mind, because i know i can never get an answer ;)

I have to say it's something you find and discover for yourself.. I mean, I hate when people mention things like the idea that everyone was given a "purpose" the day they were born.. I have to say, I would consider something like that a huge pressure.. and not remotely fun.. life is all bout finding your way.. and if you don't fill that "purpose" does that make you worthless?
My purpose in life... living it too the fullest, making the most of it.. and having a hell of a good time while doing it
