How about in such circumstances where two destined lovers meet by chance. And then they start talking and starting dating. It's not so impossible now is it?

That's not love at first sight though... that is lust at first sight and maybe love at first conversation

Love at first sight seems to cheapen the emotion imo, how can you declare such an important emotion when you know absolutely nothing about a person. The only place for it is in crap romances novels roll eyes

Trye love is when you love everything about that person, including their faults and accepting all parts of them. You can't possibly know everything about a person at first sight so love at firstsight isn't love, it's lust/attraction/friendship name it what you willbut it's not love. People who believe it's love are just delusional.

gah... stop allowing people to change their names, I was wondering who this person was then I realised it's GangstaPanda. I tend to just ignore all it's posts sub-consciously :/ Now I need to remember a new name -_-

OK then...

Anyway, I used to, but two of my ex-girlfriends made sure that I stopped that.

I'm actually glad they did that.

I'm still naive enough to believe in love at first sight. We shall see where it gets me. I'm pretty cautious about girls especially since jacksonville, nc is full of gold diggers just out to get easy money. Yeah there are girls that I have seen and gone "wow she is really cute/hot/ect." but I know there has to be something more.

hmmm well having suffered through a love at first sight I agree that it happens but how mine worked out (or how it didn't work out) leaves me believing it probably doesn't actually work. I hope that makes sense O_o.

I believe there is love at first sight and its not lust. Because the guy I fell in love with at first sight was not the most good looking guy, and He was not even my type. So sleeping with him was the farthest thing on my mind. When I first met him it felt like I found the guy I was meant to be with for the rest of my life. I wanted to talk to him and spend all my free time with him. I think he felt the same way, that we were to sides of one coin. since we were not of the same race he could not go against his family and date me. So when remained friends(wink, wink) As painful as it was I moved on because it was just to painful for me to stay by his side but I will always remember that feeling so that I can run the other way when and if it happens again. no no sad wink
