i know there has to be at least a couple out there.

In a lot of harem manga i read I'm just not buying that the person could have a harem. Loser/basic guy that lacks charisma/looks/wealth and is inept has tons of beauties vying for him. It's not that i don't get the appeal to the target audience, it's just I don't find it believable in the slightest.

ex of what i find believable.
In Legend of Nereid, the prince has a harem, I totally buy that. I read another manga where a demon king had two concubines, I totally bought this too. (I can't remember what the second one was though; if anyone wants to chime in please do.)
It doesn't have to be royalty nor does it need to be a legit harem(though please do suggest these) i just need the main character to have something going for them girl or guy.

Shoujo, shounen, josei or seinen all work for me. no yaoi, yuri, or hentai please

I personally think that Kinji in Hidan no Aria is awesome, but I'm not sure if it's being scanlated anymore. I'm translating the novels, though.

possibly the world god only knows there's definitely something going on with him.. maybe heaven or hell put him in earth only to do what he did

i second the world god only knows - i mean, he makes the girls falll for him on purpose
and 1/2 prince - i think it´s believeable if one of the most good looking avatars in an mmorpg has a small harem consisting two fangirls. and the other two members of the harem feel real love . and the mixed harem factor is quite entertaining

Try Saver. Its not labeled as a harem, but when 99% of the characters love the main lead, I think its about the same. It's really good as well!
