I'm looking for a manga where a character is being hunted down because of something that happened in the past. There can be multiple reasons such as:
1)They possess a unique ablitity- Black Cat because of Train's connection to Chronos and his shooting skills
2)They are taking revenge for something and are looking for the person who committed it (usually a betrayal by a close friend)- Again Black Cat Train to Creed, Shounen Hakaryuudo Ren to Ia, Chrno Crusade Chrno and Aion -somewhat-
*I would also like the bad guy hunting down the main character*
3)They are looking for a loved one- Dragon Eye Issa to his sister.
4)The evil side is hunting the main character down because they are vital to their plan or whatnot.
I would prefer #2 or 4 but any of these work. Also I would like Action, Adventure and a good plot. No smut, yaoi, yuri or anything of the sort. Thank you very much and I can't wait to see what people come up with!

Hunted down for their abilities/Identity

Second Rurouni Kenshin.

Scuro - Elite assassin responsible for assassinating assassins flees assassin's guild. (wow that was a mouthful) He is hunted down by the guild.

Dangu - Main lead is a shaman hunted down by rival factions who wish to eliminate all shamen. Most of the series follows his daughter, who is burdened by the legacy her father left her. (not sure if this is what you're looking for)

Hunter x Hunter - Killua is hunted down by his family for running away. He was [spoiler]the successor to his family of assassins[/m]. There's a lot of baggage there.

I guess Dogs: Bullets & Carnage also fits the bill. All of them have pasts who come back to haunt him, esp. Heine's. Heine was a genetically engineered soldier, and his old friend (Giovanni) is one of the main adversaries.


Revenge
Hand x Red - Old friends become enemies when one steals the other's heart for immortality. This leaves the protagonist cursed to being conscious for a few days, than falling asleep for 100 years. An interesting manga that follows the protagonist over hundreds of years to kill his friend.



Hunter x Hunter - There is an episode where someone tries to take revenge on Killua. Also, his family is pissed about his betrayal.

Immortal Rain Hunted down for being immortal
Chaser being hunted by the chasers for something he can't remember
Vampire Juujikai hunted for his powers and what he's done in the past
Tokage hunted for immortality and past sin
Seizon - Life hunting his daughter's killer
Saver being hunted for her role in a prophecy
07-Ghost hunted for who he is and the power he has

These ones are more about the present:

Tower of God He is searching for his friend
Double Arts hunted by assassins b/c they hold the cure
Death Note being hunted by police as a mass murderer
From Far Away being hunted for her role in a prophecy
Superior demon queen being hunted by hero (demon's pov)

Gangsta. - Main character - There is a reward for his whereabouts. Only two chapters, but it seems like its going interesting places. Black lagoon sort of vibe.

ChunChu - Brother is hunting down main character. Main character was abandoned, banished.

If you're up for a cartoon, Avatar the Last Airbender fits too. The main character is an avatar that doggedly pursued by a banished prince.

Are you alright with seinen stuff? Or do you prefer toned down stuff? I'm wondering because I'd recommend Akira, but yeah. It's mature. Gore-ish stuff and nudity is in it. It kinda fits your request #1 and 2.

Those all pretty much work I’ve already read En Passant,07-Ghost, Fullmetal Alchemist, Superior, and Double Arts and they were what I was looking for (FMA especially because of the homunculus's and father's interest in the Elric Bros). That's another thing I would like in the manga the main character is hunted down by the bad side for some evil plan or something of the sort (like FMA). Also to answer your question Karonhioktha gore-ish stuff is ok but I kind of want to keep the nudity and ecchi to a min. Thank you very much and please keep them coming!!
